Hi all ,
I havent posted in a while decided to keep off line to try and focus my energys but now I've had my EC of my third IVF and I'm waiting to see what has happened. I got 3 Eggs half what I have got the other times but then ultimately those embies didnt lach on so who knows.

Just wanted to send some positive thoughts. If anything fertilizes today I will have ET on Thursday. Role on week.I'd also like to share with Jane who is worried about her one embie. I went to the free counseling that every clinic in the uk has to offer and it was quiet wondeful helping me to unravel those thought in my head . I am now able to talk about our unexplained infertility with a counsulant without bursting into tears or anyone for that matter and it has made life a whole lot bearable.

well done for your 3 eggs, may they all be top quality sweetie. Will think of you and your little embies, this wait for the fertilisation is terrible isn't it?? Even though we had donor eggs from that point it was dh sperm, so we were really chewing our nails, we all know what you are going through.

I am in tomorrow for the iui. Waiting for time to be arranged, but all systems go here!

I cant believe it actually happening, after all that waiting!

Hi Mayflowers

Had my EC yesterday and they got 10 eggs.

. Felt okay but then yesterday afternoon/last night I was chucking my guts up

the effects of the anaesthetic (although not the one where you go fully under). Feeling better today although a bit sore. The hospital just phoned, of the 10 eggs, 8 were suitable for ICSI and of those 8, 4 fertilised, so I'm going in for ET tomorrow morning.

Pauline ..That's good news. It's always a nightmare 24 hour waiting for the call re the fertilisation rates ...

Sorry you've been feeling so rough. I'm lucky in that anaethetics don't affect me. It's only natural for you to be a bit sore, don't worry about that. Just rest up today and get as ready as poss for tomorrow. Good luck. You'll then be a fully fledged 2ww member !!

Hi Pauline, great news about your 4 embies wow!!! It's so scary how the numbers go down though isn't it??? Best of luck with your ET tomorrow sweetie, are you having 2 put back and 2 frozen then??

Hope the sicky feeling goes, get lots of rest today as you'll need all your strength tomorrow

Yes, my boss is a jerk. But thats being sorted out, told the area manager above him and now he's having his arse kicked!

Pauline and Bronagh - well done with your EC's, now remember get plenty of R&R and good luck with the ET's. Let us know how you get on.
