Hyperstimulating during 2ww

Post by Tracey D »

Hi Girls,

Having a bit of a naff time. Have not been feeling brilliant since e/t, a little bit out of breath and feeling strange and bloated. Got bad on Friday night and found it quite hard to get my breath. Dh nagged me to ring the hospital and i spoke to my consultant yesterday morning. She said I had hyperstimulated and to drink plenty of fluids and rest. She also said, which has rather upset me that it is a good sign that I am pregnant. But the thing is I'm positive I'm not. Especialy after last night I had the most horrendous pains in my tummy and am sure af is going to come any moment. The thing is she has rather got my hopes up so I know I am going to be even more devastated when I get a negative result.

I am due to test on Thursday along with Susan and Susi ( Hi girls!). My consultant has told me to test tomorrow but I told her that there is no way. Susi and Susan how are you feeling? Is there anyone else out there who has hyperstimulated after e/t?

Going to go and veg out on the settee now. Dh is doing all the housework and looking after me - bless him.

Love to you all

Tracey D

Hi Tracey !

Was thinking about you this morning, sorry to hear aboutyour hyperstimulation . Nice though that dh is giving you alot of TLC & hope that you are feeling better today .
Am nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof today, about either Aunt Flo arriving ( 2 weeks after the ec, which is when we 'ovulated' )or not. Then there's the test! Have not bought any hpt as that would be too much temptation. Do you feel the same ?
Hang in there and take it easy, I will send you some positive vibes from Portugal !
Susi

Hi everyone,

Well, where shall I start?? I was in casualty all of Sunday night (well from 2 am on Monday morning to be precise). I had woken up with the most awful pain in my tummy and dh had found me delirious and called an ambulance. To cut a long story short the doc at casualty was a bit baffled but unfortunately did do a preganancy test which was negative. I spoke to my consultant in London when I got home and she said it was definitely hyperstimulation and the awful pain I had was basically because was where my ovaries are filling with water they can twist!! She said I could still be pregnant because the test was done too early - no way do I think I am pregnant. She told me to carry on putting a pessary in at night but I didn't last night coz I am convinced that could have triggered off the pain as I had had it on Saturday night as well and each time I had the pain I just felt like pushing out of my front region!

So at the moment am staying at home, feeling very sick and sore tummy. Can't wait to feel better again. If the doctor had told me I was pregnant I would have happily suffered all this but because I'm not I just feel I am suffering for nothing. Stupid cow coz I'm still hoping that I could be pregnant but I know this is wishful thinking. At least I've got 11 embys on ice so hopefully they will be alright and I won't have to have any drugs for a long time.

Sorry to depress you all, hope everything is going better for the rest of you and hope that Susi and Suan get positive results on Thursday.

Love to you all

Tracey D

Hi Tracey,

You poor thing. I'm really feeling for you. I understand because I had OHSS last March. It's really not a nice experience. They didn't transfer at the time cos I was showing signs at the time of EC.

Hang in there. The fact the transferred is positive. She's right about the test being too early. Keep on doing why the clinic say but if you feel you're getting worse , don't hesitate to shout at them!!!

Nothing to report this end. No symptoms (bar sore breasts) so I can't really believe it's very positive!! Roll on Thursday

Susan

Hi Tracey!

Sorry to hear you're suffering in your 2ww. Honestly though...it aint over till it's over! AF cramps are normal during 2ww and the test you did will have been too early to be accurate, so you really don't know.

Anyway, my fingers are crossed for you! Pamper yourself and take care.

Luv Rachel X

Okay, writing this in a state of shock! Did a pregnancy test this morning as my consultant told me to. Quite frankly just did it to shut her up and then be able to take some nurofen at long last. The thing is I think I'm pregnant(oh hell I've just passed out again!) The line was faint but there - dh and I were running around looking at it under every possible light going. I still can't believe that I can be. Have spoken to my consultant this morning and she said'told you so'. I've got to repeat it again on Friday morning. How the hell am I going to get throught the next 48 hours???? Please don't any of you tell me that the test may be wrong coz I would just feel gutted.

Don't really know how dh and I feel at the moment - numb is probably the best word. Want to jump around the house and sream 'I'M PREGNANT' but still am worried that this may be a false alarm which will be a very cruel twist of fate to get my hopes up this much.

PLEASE, PLEASE, ALL KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME!!

Love to you all

Tracey D
