First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. This happened to me too, also in the ninth week. It's not easy to cope with, especially if it took so much just to get there.
I am not sure if there's a difference between D&C and natural, I guess the important fact would be that all tissue is completely removed before you try again. An ultra sound might detect that.
My gyn told me after my D&C I could try right away, no need to wait for recovery or something. If you did IVF though, there might be just a little bit more waiting time involved to get all the hormones out of the system first. This I would ask then the IVF clinic.
Good luck, and don't you worry. It worked out once, you might be lucky again. I am pregnant again, too.
Hi Denise,
I am also so sorry for your loss. I lost my little baby (she was never an embryo or a foetus to us, she was our little girl) at nine weeks also. Is a dreadful thing. I had a D&C and was then told I had to wait three months until I could do another FET. I had an infection and "free fluid" in my pelvis though as a reults of a vessel perforation during egg pick up, so maybe others don't have to wait this long..
Like Mo though, I got pregnant the very next FET cycle and my Annie is just divine!!
All the best
Belinda
I had a +ve after ICSI in December but sadly lost the pg a few days after. Even though I had only been pg for 3 weeks, I was told to wait until March before starting the next cycle. So that was 3 full periods inc Dec's.
Hi there and like the others I am so sorry for your loss.
I lost my wee one at 4 weeks and like Dancola was told to give myself 3 full cycles before trying again. I have actually given myself 9 months now because of various tests and do feel ready to face the treatment head on and positively.
Good luck to you for when you make the decision to try again.
