Anyone else going mad????????

Leanne ... I can totally empathise with you on the memory front. I did jabs rather than sniffing, but I'm sure it's just the same - I felt I'd gone completely scatty. It's not a good feeling when you like to be on top of things.

I hope AF arrives soon and you can move onto the the next stage. Try not to worry, your memory will sort itself out.

I hop you have a less stressful day today.

Leanne

Hi there - I hope that today is a better day :D

I too have started "sniffing" and it's new to me because I was on the injections before but I have to say that I've had moments of spontaneous crying  , slight headaches and this horrible taste in my mouth.

I do know that memory is affected by the drugs - you poor thing I hope that you start to feel better soon and that AF makes an appearance quickly so that you can move onto the next stage.

Good luck and loads of PMA and hugs.

sniffing or injections

Post by Bronagh »

hi ,
To to add my 2 pence worth into the sniffing story the first 2 times I had IVF I sniffed and got headhaches and worried alot that I was not sniffing the right amount. So this time around I had injections and found them easier to deal with as I knew I was having the right amount.

Fertilization has hapened on all 3 eggs and by yesterday afternoon I had 2 embies. ET tomorrow afternoon, I was crusing my clinics website and realised there sucess rate for IVF is now 30% instead of the national average of 22% so I'm starting to feel positive again . The thing all the other times all these stages have worked as well its just the implantation that doesnt.

Anyway quiet day today here in the rain just taking it easy.

Hope to all.

Hi Girls,

Hope everyone is doing OK.

Well had my little 2 cell embie transferred yesterday and they said it was good quality so not to worry. The embriologist thought my other eggs may not have been mature enough to fertilise but said it is a very fine line when deciding to go for EC, so that makes me feel a lot better and they also said it is not the endof the road although they hope not to see me again. They said both times I achieved fertilisation with good embies so I'm OK and if we have to they have other suggestions for me. They've told me to take aspirin as this helps the blood flow to the endo so here goes.

Also had a good chat with DH and he said there was no way we could have had a baby when I was much younger we were not ready, we were not in the position we are now and its just how life works out and I shouldn't feel guilty at all.

I think on Monday my hormones were all the over the place so I am really sorry for ranting. I'm now trying to rest but cannot stay in bed all day I think it will have to be the sofa this afternoon but trying to stay horizontal. Unfortunately I have to go back to work on Friday but I'm going to take it very easy and might book an accupuncture session for Friday night to help relax me and inprove blood flow.

Good luck to Bron and Pauline for ET today and Nicola on your IUI lots of PMA and baby dust to you all.

BigJ, Sand and Eskavon hope the 2WW is going. Sand I'll be thinking of you on Friday you have been so good I'll have my fingers crossed.

LittleP hope your doing OK.

To all other Mayflowers good luck and I hope everything is going OK.

Oh by the way i test on 31/5.

Love,

Jane

Jane

Well done with the ET - now remember get plenty of R&R and look after yourself and the little embie - the implantation imp will do the rest :D

I will update the test dates and put you on the list.

It's good to hear you sounding more positive about things.

Take care and loads of PMA, hugs and Baby Dust to you.
