Sandra

   You've created a wonderful image now of how you were sat typing - thanks for that. :D

I hope that the pains are a positive sign Sandra :)

Nicola rub away, make that little person comfortable and the implantation imp will do the rest. Do take care though and be sure to get loads of rest.

I hope that everyone else is coping alright :!:

Nothing to report. Just some cramping and some pain on her right side. She's having trouble laying on that side. We are thinking it's way too soon to feel any pregnancy symptoms. Hopefully our little 'embies' (got that from you I think) will hatch quite soon and we'll have more to report. Thanks for keeping us in mind.

Pam just finished her 4th and final day in bed yesterday. She can finally leave the house. Perhaps even enjoy the rest of our vacation together. Everybody is excited that she can attend my brother's wedding tomorrow night...

We hope nothing but the best for all of you who are awaiting your test results. What a nervous/exciting time this is for us...

Take care,
Mike and Pam

Pam thinks it may just be 'gas'. Not too bad. She's been a little constipated since the retrieval. The transfer was on Sunday, 5/15.

Pam and Mike

Well done for staying in bed for the 4 days - it's not easy is it?

I hope that you feel a bit more comfortable as the 2ww goes along - remember there are definitive signs to be looking out for so just stay positive and believe in those little embies.

If you let me know what day Pam is testing I will add her to the list.

She goes in for bloodwork Saturday for her progesterone levels, and the pregnancy test is on 5/27. I feel bad for her. The progesterone shots are bloating her bigtime. She is a tiny little thing at 4'11/95 lbs. She's probably put on an additional 5 lbs...

Pam and Mike .. Don't worry about the cramping. I couldn't straighten up for about 5 days after EC on both fresh cycles, and had terrible cramps for days. I believe the cramps are the ruptured follicles filling with fluid. Well done on the 4 days bed rest. That is an acheivement ! I hope the bloods on Sat show all is going to plan ...

Pam and Mike

Good luck with the blood tests on Saturday - I'm sure you'll get some positive news.

Make sure Pam doesn't worry about the weight thing - I'm usually a skinny thing, but did put on some during the treatment it's par for the course apparently :?

I will add you to the test dates thread.

Have others gone in for progesterone levels during their 2ww? And what is this for? If they are too high, is the dose reduced? If this is the case, I'm a little bummed that is not the protocol at my clinic. With all my horrible symptoms with the meds after transfer--leg cramps, stomach pain, severe indigestion, I can't see as how that could be good for the success of an embryo in its first days!

No, after ET there was no further treatment or contact with the clinic other than the daily Cyclogest pessaries. I wonder if these prog. shots are a US thing because I seem to see a lot of US-based ladies going in for these tests.

I suffered terribly this time with cramps for 4 days after EC (basically until ET) but was told this was due to me having 12 follicles (not a lot but was for me).

i've been inject 1cc of progesterone into pam since the transfer. if we get a positive test on the 27th, i will still continue injecting the same for the following 10 weeks. then our clinic will determine that the pregnancy will proceed as normal...

Mike

That's normal - when we had our previous cycle we were warned that the injections would be for the first trimester if it was a successful outcome.

Emily, don't worry - as Dancola says most hospitals/clinics don't do the mid 2ww tests. Actually, it's only 2 or 3 weeks ago that the first person mentioned them. I wonder if it's a new idea in the States ..?

Well girls (and boys !) ... With the amount of knicker-checking I've done this afternoon I might as well have just resigned myself to the loo for the duration ... Backwards and forwards .... backwards and forwards.... I must stop !!
