Hi, no you're not crazy. You live with the proof that infertility can sometimes be overcome and the result(s) = a miracle. Why wouldn't you try again?
My ivf baby turned 2 this month and we've already been trying again for over a year. I'm now 41 so unlike you, don't have much time to hang around making up my mind. As per my details below, we'll use our last 3 frozen embryos up this year and then call it a day.
I wish you luck.

My twins are 3 and we've been TTC baby number 3 since they were 8 months old. We're currently going through tests before going for another ICSI cycle.
So no, I don't think that you're crazy.

Hi
I have a 4 year old DD thru ICSI, and swore I'd not go thru it again, but I see my DD with babies and know I have to try at least once to give her a brother or sister.
I'm on the 2ww at the mo, this being our 1st and last attempt since having DD and my dilema was how many embryos to put back. I opted for 2, am petrified of getting twins, but had to give myself best chance of success. Had I had twins in the 1st place there'd be no way I'd try again, but good on ya to all that do, you're braver than me!

get on,goodluck and really hope it works out.nice to know you all feel the same.also i would love to balance my family,am i crazy to want a particular gender??
i am in uk,i know its an issue,i wouldnt consider choosing them anyway, but definatelty would like a boy so it can balance my family and i guess thats natural to feel that way, dont u think??
Sorry to have assumed you were out of Europe. Every now and again someone posts from elsewhere re. wanting IVF to help them choose the gender and thus 'finish off their family' and it always sets the board alight.
Actually, I have a little girl and only wanted a girl so luckily didn't have to eat my words! We wanted to know and the amnio confirmed it 100% so we were well prepared for her arrival. During our brief successes since, I've also allowed myself to dream of more little girls. My dream ticket is 3! No idea why I don't want boys so much but I think it's because DD was one of 10 babies I knew of born around the same time, she was the only girl. It made her even more special in my eyes, a tiny pink chick in a sea of blue!
Obviously I'd not argue with what I got, if I were blessed with a pregnancy again.
I'm guessing your twins are both girls? how lovely......!!!!

Yup my twins are both girls and i know what you mean, girls are so lovely and i never wish they were boys or one was a boy.i just feel it would be nice for them to have a brother but having said that if i have a singleton i would love a girl too.goodluck
Hi, I am in US and just wanted to say that I am pretty certain that gender selection is not an option here, except in extreme cases of genetic predispositions that may be dangerous and/or fatal to fetus. So, anyone thinking about "choosing" here would only be able to do so in special circumstances.
And...congratulations to all of you! I sooo hope I will be able to join you soon. For what it's worth, I'm still on the 'other side' and think it's very comforting when you all post advice and personal experiences for us. Thanks, Elena
