Due in December

Post by longbaygirl »

Anyone expecting an extra Christmas present, or two, this year?

My EDD is 5/12/05 - twins.

Will be nearly 14 weeks by the time I have my first NHS appointment - is that pants or what?

hi all. Kim, we are v close as my due date is 17/01/06. My scan is not until june 4th as the place i am getting it done likes to do it after 7 weeks. it is all a bit strange as i started out as an IVF candidate but whilst downregging found i had somehow got pregnant naturally. i had HCG tests on 2 occasions at my ivf clinic just to check the result but now am no longer really assigned to there. i wanted an early scan anyway as neither dh or i can quite believe this.

have not had huge amount of symptoms yet. i have had period type pains on and off since just before i found out i was pregnant. have also been tired, have tingly nipples and feelings of dizziness. am just experiencing my first nausea type feelings as i sit here but it is mostly like light-headedness. is it the same for all of you??

i hope kim that the scan will put your mind at rest. it all seems so tenuous doesnt it?? still hard to believe a week or so after finding out!!

bst wishes to all.

Hi Minnow
Fantastic news that you got pregnant naturally after going through IVF. I am a bit nervous about my scan. Part of me wants the day to come quick, but the other part doesnt in case its bad news. I feel pregnant because of all the different symptoms. Felt especially dizzy and tired today. The nausea isnt too bad. It comes on mainly when I havent eaten recently, but I havent actually been sick yet. Mil has set up a first trimester post, which is great. We can all compare symptoms together!
Take care

Wow!! It sounds like a babyboom around Christmas and the first of the year! My est. due date is Jan. 11, 2006. Boy, do I ever have symptoms. Been very fatigued for a while now and the nausea is horrid. It usually begins in the early afternoon and kept me awake til after midnight last night  I think I'm still in disbelief and trying to figure out why I feel so lousy   ! We have been waiting for this for so long and it just doesn't seem real. Our next scan is June 1. Can't wait to see - maybe then it will be real!
