Nicola ,
My clinic actually said you can go swimming and walking , I only had my ET yesterday so I'm going to give it a few more days but I'm going to go swimming. The last 2 times I didnt move for 3 days then took everything very easy for 2 weeks and it didnt work so I'm taking a different attitude this time .

anyway you gotta do as you feel fit.

Test date May 23

Post by brs888 »

I hope you all don't mind me joining in here. This is exactly what I have been looking for. This is our first round of IVF and I am questioning everything I feel :? Our embryos looked fantastic and the transfer went very well :D However, the actual transfer hurt like crazy. It turns out my uterus is tilted a little bit and they had to use some pressure to "line everything up." The doctors are guessing that it hurt because of my endometriosis. Yes...that is our whole problem.

Anyway...I started feeling a little crampy one week after the transfer and it comes and goes ever since. I know some women feel crampy when the embryos are implanting, but it is making me doubtful that it worked. I guess I am just looking for a little hope. Can you guys help me out with any of your experiences?

Hi there, I recently went through a positive tmt and had AF-type feelings throughout. They started very early in the 2ww and carried on. They didn't stop me getting a BPF though so good luck!

Welcome brs888! Feel free to join in - I'm a first timer too so also question everything :?
Nicola
I'm sure the twinges are your little embie settling in - thats what I keep telling myself. In fact found myself talking to little embie last night asking it to settle in just a little less painfully! Bad cramps last night.
Hi LP, I'm doing fine today - just got back from hairdressers and had 4 inches off my hair  but happy with it.
Does anyone else find that they get really light headed if they don't eat regular meals? I sometimes (pre ivf treatment) got a little light headed but not on the scale it is now. Missed lunch and got in a 2 and had to stuff food down my throat asap - very odd. Also finding toilet visits more frequent then pre ET and drinking same amount of water.... weird
Listen to me gabble on .. me me me
Hope you're all doing really well and remember we're all one step closer to testing day :D

Eskavon

Those loo visits could be a very positive sign - welcome them and believe in them :D

Just remember you are nearly there and soon hopefully you'll be getting the news that you so deserve.

Fingers crossed, PMA and huge hugs

I rubbed my tummy and spoke to mine every day both attempts, so I guess it doesn't do ant harm. I even gave them silly names. Last time there were 3 they were called Tom Dick and Harry, this time 2 and I called them Fanny and Fred!
