Sandra

It's so good to see you here today - I know it's hard to stay positive but where there's a will there's a way and you will conquer this and get that final tick in the box.

I send you and DF tons of PMA and hugs and hope that you get to "thrash" things out soon.

Thank you for all your support Little P. We WILL go again, and we WILL get that +ve someday .... However ... It's now YOUR turn first - so you need to start pointing all that energy towards yourself for a while. I hope your sniffing is going okay. I know you're slightly irregular, but AF should show next w/e-ish ? That's it with these cycles, we're always so eager to move onto the next stage ... Hope this week goes to plan for you...

Sandra

Thank you for that - you really have the most generous heart to be thinking of others at the moment :D

Sniffing is going ok. As you said AF should be next week so I shall keep my fingers crossed. I have now got my Zita West Bible and can see why you recommend it - she's full of some very helpful hints.

Stay strong and focused and we'll be here to help you through to that positive outcome.

Big hugs

Hi everyone

nice to hear from you Sand, lots of love to you and dh - I am faairly new to the board but can see that so many people think highly of you for all the support you have shared, lots of treats deserved!!

going insane with the wait, still having a bit of bleeding, not developed into a full flow so no idea if it AF or not?!

am i the only one that has taken to wearing the sexy(impractical)bras at the bottom of the drawer to convince myself that my boobs are bigger (even though i know they always popped out abit in said bra?)? looking into everything for 'signs'!!

Received lovely flowers from my work this morning, really cheered me up! DH convinced me to shift from the house this evening, once the footy is over of course!!

Love to you all

Hi,

How is everyone doing?

I'm bored stupid and have a lovely spotty dog that won't stop being sick, I don't know how much vomit I have cleaned up from my living room (tmi I know). I poor little embie has been shaken about non stop this afternoon with gipping (hope its all right in there).

Now feeling very dodgy and the poor dog is scared stiff of me for shouting at her to go outside. AT least DH came from from work to help me take her to the vets, I was worn out after that and had to have a lie down and now have a strange dull ache in my abdoman must be the gipping.

Oh well better go and seeif she has been sick again, oh nice.

Love,

Jane

Hi sweeties, how are we all doing today????

Jane your poor doggie   hope she gets better soon. Don't worry about a bit of bending as long as you stood up again and used your powerful thigh muscles probably did you good to move about a bit....hope you washed your hands after though  I am getting paranoid about the dogs, so have installed antibacterial hand wash all over the house and antibacterial washin up lkiquid and kitchen cleaner....is that over doing it???? Good news is that dh has to clean up all the poops heh heh heh and do the cat tray too tee heee 8) (and it says so in my Miriam Stoppard pg book that I bought last time for the IUI)

hi Jules, keep your PMA up sweetie and rest a bit, as we said on the other thread, loads of people have some bleeds and go on to have BFPs, keep faith in yourself  On the bra front - well I know it's not imagination that my boobs have inflated loads  as I had to buy new bras last week and they are NOT sexy but they are very comfy and supportive. I was a small boob woman so it's a bit of a shock  But I am sure it's just the side effect of the hormone patches etc as they are much stronger than the HRT I was on previously  So I don't blame you sweetie, especially if they hurt they feel bigger anyway and a "wispy bit of lace" doesn't help much then does it?? My boobs feel like they need to go in the fridge.

On the down side my bum and thighs have gone really lumpy - yuk

Had a relatively good day today, but have terrible backache from too much hanging around. Still consipated and bloated, keep shoving the balast in and nothing comes out  :shock:Walking around in jogging trousers as I can;'t do my jeans up. Having a pure veggie dinner with fruit for afters, later will chew on some figs   good to have 4 dogs to disguise the flatulence  (sorry TMI). Feel a bit neutral today, have emailed a couple of other clinics just to get my ducks ina row if we have a BFN, I know I have to keep to Zita's mantras so I am going to act pregnant from now on til Thursday so there 8) .

Actually I keep forgetting I am on the 2ww  How are you all??? Testing buddies??????? very quiet today - I watched the footie which shows you how hard I am trying to rest, it had the desired effect, I went to sleep until the penalty shoot out - 5 minutes later game over, my idea of a perfect game of footie

Lots of love and baby dust and may the implantation imp and the womb wizard do their bits in our bits...

Doing pretty well today Big J. Yesterday evening my belly decided to get extremely bloated making it uncomfortable to walk or sit for that matter. Phoned the Doc today and he said that I may have mild OHSS and nothing to be concerned about unless I start to gain weight quickly. Tummy is a little better today. I worked Mon-Fri so it feels good being at home today. DH is working around the house while I relax. I felt guilty for about a minute. :) Hope all my test buddies are hanging in there.

Hi everyone

I'm an ivf first timer and have just started the madness of the two week wait.

Having enormous amount of trouble sleeping which is driving me mad. Up in the wee hours again with nothing to do and no chance of sleep. Has anyone else experienced mass insomnia. I'm usually so good at sleeping!

Was very positive yesterday but today, it's difficult - probably because I'm tired. Just lounged around doing nothing but watch dvds and the rain coming down.

Hope all other testers are feeling ok.

Clare I am having the same trouble. I think it's the 2ww stress that is keeping you up. I can only sleep for a couple of hours at a time then I am up.I hate it cause it's like my brain doesn't get a break.
I put on headphones and listen to favorite music to try to sleep. It helps relax me.

Dear All

Finally slept last night at 4am after reading ivf websites, bbc news, eastenders gossip... online.

Princess - good to hear there is someone else out their with the same insomnia. Thought it was just me.

We have had my dh's lovely 9 year old this weekend which is nice, as always, but adds to the stress. Hard to lie around when there's jobs to be done. I'm usually so active, in the house, or garden, or kitchen.

Poor dh has to drive to London and back today to take some furniture down to my flat that I rent out. He looks very tired - the stress of all this is wearing him down too.

Hope the rest of the 2ww-ers have a lovely sunday.

Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm not strictly speaking quite on the 2ww yet but am definitely on the emotional roller-coaster. Had EC yesterday and they got 19, which I was delighted about, but then they phoned this morning to say that lots were immature and we only had 7 embies. Now I know that 7 is still a pretty good haul, and I'd have been thrilled with that if it had been from say 10 eggs, but I'm now thinking, "well if lots of them were immature, maybe that means even the ones that fertilised were a bit crap and won't carry on going". You know how it is....! So now waiting, waiting for tomorrow's call to see how they're doing, and whether they'll go back in 2mrw or Tuesday (don't think with that number I could bear to wait to see if they make blastocyst, even if the clinic thought they might make it).

I sympathise with the insomnia - I think I probably only got about 3 hours on Friday night before EC - was terrified of over-sleeping. Made up for it with a very lazy day yesterday doing things I wouldn't usually do like watching the footie and Eurovision. Have to say like Nicki I got more interested in the latter - I quite liked Denmark! And I'm with BigJ on the bloating etc. front - have a fridge full of fruit and veg and seriously considered buying some prunes! Still, at least I don't have a sick dog to clear up after (just a not very tidy DH!)

Wishing you all the best and the time to pass quickly, love

Alison x
