What drugs are you on and how do you find them? Any side effects at all? Hope it's all going well for you. Bet you are looking forward to EC and ET. I guess i'm lucky, i dont have to go through that as we decided to go for IUI.
Anyways, i've rabbited on long enough, so im gonna head off. Keep me posted on how you are getting on, willya? Hope to 'talk' again soon.

Heather
xxx

Hi girls

I am another November cycler..due to have day 8 scan on Wednesday and day 10 on Friday and the ec around the 11 November - depends if they coast me!

It is my first go at IVF b ttc for just under 2 years but drs said no point to continue naturally as dh has so many probs..basically very very very very very few spermies..and most of them are swimming the wrong way..the reason is he had mumps when he was 9.

I am very excited about the next few weeks - strange you would think that we would all dread it with all of the needles, scans and painful procedings ..but no we want more more more!

I also had Buserlin and it made me feel fantastic..full of energy..a few headaches..did make me have a 2 week af tho' and also turned me right off anything in the feeling randy department.
I am on Menagon for the stims and seem to be okay ..no pains really..just really thirsty and also weeing all of the time..
Both injections have turned me off chicken, and made me want to drink milk and eat fish..strange as I have always hated milk!

Take care and if I can help you get through the next few weeks then please ask me ..I am always logged on at some point of the day..and I will sure need you guys to help me get through the next few weeks.

Peddle with care!

Love Becky B

Hi Girls
Nice to see that there are at least a few of us cycling this month.
MichelleS - I used to be MichelleS until I got married - am now Michelle A!
I'm still on the nasal spray - no side effects still (luckily). I'm at Guys in London (luckily funded by the NHS for 2 attempts) and going for a scan on Thursday so will hopefully start injections then. If all goes according to plan should be having e/c around 18th Nov. Just can't wait to get on with the whole thing - the process just seems so lengthy especially as this is my first time.
Heather, delighted that af arrived....you are soooo lucky not to be going through ec/et!
Sending you all lots of love. I'll let you know how I get on on Thursday.
Michelle x
p.s. We have unexplained infertility. Do any of you?

hiya becky and the two michelles...
So how you all getting on??? i had my first injection at 6pm tonight, and full credit to pat, my dh, he didnt hurt me a bit. Only thing is, it itched like a tw*t afterwards. Anyone else had this?

Went to docs this morning, and i swear she is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I needed to have all my blood tests done for the clinic, and fair do's to the doc, she agreed that i could have it done on the NHS, but she gave me all the wrong forms. She didnt give me the form for Cystic Fibrosis screening because she didnt know which one it was and she gave me the wrong form for my blood group test. I rang her back and i have to go back to see her tomorrow to get them done properly.

I also rang my clinic and have got an appointment for a scan on the 11th of november at 1.30pm. I cant believe we have finally started...it's fantastic.

How are you doing becky? still having those strange cravings? And michelle S, not long now till your baseline scan is it? i bet you cant wait to get started. And michelle, are you still sniffing hun? Dont think i would like to do the sniffing bit, not keen on putting things up my nose..heehee.

Anyways, i'm gonna stop rabbbiting on, you take care girls, and i hope to talk to you all soon.

Heather
xxx

hiya buddies...
How we all doing today??? Hope we are all well. i'm ok, i started my purgeon injections tonight, alongside my buserelin ones. The buserelin one was great, didnt feel a thing, but the purgeon really stung, not sure why as i made sure i took it out of the fridge in plenty of time.
I'm drinking loads and loads of milk, as im not too keen on water, ive got through about 5 pints so far, is that enough? should i be drinking water, or can i just stick to the milk? Any opinions would be gratefully recieved.
wishinng Becky loadsa luck for tomorrow...i know youre gonna be fine hun, but i'll keep me fingers crossed for you anyways. And to the two Michelle's, and Sammy, hope you are doing okay. Take care all.

Heather
xxx

Hi all!

Well hope everything is Ok with you all. Went for baseline scan today and begin FET cycle tonight. I am taking 1 injection of Prostap instead of Buserelin, otherwise I will be cycling over Xmas. Then scan on 20th to see everything is nice and thin! Then oestrogen tablets (6 a day!) plus daily Gestone jab after another week. Not too sure when transfer is exactly but I think Xmas Eve is the time I wil know one way or another!

Wishing you all the best.

Michelle :-)
Hi there
Well have just been to hospital for a scan and they were happy with the thin lining of my womb and gave me my first Puregon injection - must say it quite hurt. Hubby was with me to learn the technique and I think he quite enjoyed it. The nurse asked him if he had ever given an injection before and he said yes he used to inject his diabetic dog and that it is no problem - hope he'll be gentle with me though as his dog didn't live too long!
Anyway delighted to finally have got this far, know that sounds silly but this process first time round is so long and there just seem so many stages we have to get through.
I don't go back to hospital till a week tomorrow, 15th Nov, when hopefully they will say that I can have e/c around the 18th or 19th.
Heather am cycling really close with you which is great...when approx do you think your 2ww will start? I didn't realise that I was supposed to start drinking loads now I thought that was after e/t? Advice please!
Sending loads of positive vibes our way....feeling really positive today.
Love, Michelle x

hiya buddies..
how is we all tonite? Hope everyone's ok. Sorry i havent posted for a couple of days, but to be honest dh says that ive been neglecting him in favour of the 'puter, so i thought i'd better spend some time with him..lol..specially as today is our anniversary.
I'm ok, still injecting, the buserelin is fine, no problem with that at all, but the puregon is really really hurting when it goes in. Oh well, i'll just hafta get used to it. Is anyone getting any reactions to the injections? I'm getting really bad hot flushes, mainly at night, so i am out in sympathy with becky there..lol. I also cant stop peeing, but that could have something to do with all the milk im drinking..lol. Pat is seriously thinking about buying a cow and tethering it out on the balcony im drinking that much...
I'm also getting really bad insomnia, does anyone else get that whilst on the injections? it's been doing me head in especially when pat starts snoring next to me..lol.
It does sound like we are really close together, doesn't it Michelle? i go for a scan on Monday and i guess that they are gonna tell me what's gonna happen then. Not too sure when my 2ww is gonna be. To be honest i haven't even thought that far ahead yet, just trying to concentrate on getting through the injections.
How's everyone else doing? How are you today, becky? i'm sending you loadsa love for your scan tomorrow hun. Hiya to sammy and michelleS. Hope you are all ok. Anyways, i gotta go..take care all,
loadsa love,
Heather
xxx

Hello November girlies

I am dreading tomorrow..thanks for all of your support..
Heather ..see what I mean about the love for milk and needs lots of wees..I am glad also that I am not the only one who had hot night sweats and flushes all day long whilst on Buserlin..

The clinic seem to think that me having hot sweats whilst stimming was a bad sign that the drugs weren't working hench ..no follicles so since they put me on 6 powders a day yesterday the sweats have stopped..so lets hope that things have now started to work...

I really hope so...
I will post tomorrow when I am back from the scan...all rub your lucky charms for me at 1.15...

Good luck everyone...are you also having eye sight problems Heather? No I didn't have a problem sleeping but I did have loads of nervous energy through the day...

Love Becky B
