Hi everyone
Just checking in to see what is going on.

I am just waiting for AF which should be about a week away. I can't believe I am about to start this rollercoaster again.

Randa
Congratulations!!! Life is sometimes very complicated isn't it? Hope the jabs abd the plans are going well.

Little P
June 1st!! that is not long to wait. Do you have a blood test and scan or just scan? I have to have the blood test first to see if my FSH levels are low enough then a scan the next day.
I noticed you said AF may be early after the hysteroscopy? No one said this to me so I am glad you mentioned it. Did you find it was early?.

Leanne
Godd luck for starting the jabs next thursday. I hate doing them as well to begin with I would just sit there with the needle hovering over my leg and after 5 mins dp would take pity on me and do it. Last time though his work hours were a bit unpredictable so I had to do them myself, still find it hard though.

Missmolly
Hello and welcome to the board. I hope AF arrives soon.We spend our lives dreading AF arriving then when we want it it never comes.

Sorry if I have missed anyone.

Hi there - long time no speak, thank goodness I've found you again :D

My AF was actually 3 days early - which is what they said it can be, so at least I was prepared. I got those all too familiar pains 24 hours beforehand :!:

I'm having a scan and blood test on Wednesday and then hopefully they'll let me know when I can begin the stimming drugs. Then, I haven't got a clue what happens I know I am having Heparin, Steroids and IVIG but when these are incorporated into the treatment I haven't any idea. I know you've done this before is there a standard way?

So, what is happening for you - whereabouts are you in the treatment, have you started "sniffing" yet?

Hi Little P
Good to hear from you.
I go for bloods on day 1 or 2 then if the hormones are ok and the scan is ok I start downregging and stimming at the same time.It is called a flare protocol.

IVIG is often given around ec and heparin and steroids are in the 2ww, well that was my experience. I also had more IVIG following a BFP. I think this time I am getting 2 IVIGS before the test day but not sure when.

I am quite excited now are you? But I also a bit nervous because this is definately my last go.

Hope you are well have a good weekend.

I am excited, but know what you mean about the nerves - they are just kicking in.

Hopefully I will know more about when things really start to get going next week - I'll let you know.

Have a lovely weekend - should be a scorcher 8) 8) , make the most of it :D

Big hugs

Little P,
Good luck with your scan tomorrow, Sweetie! :D
Be sure and tell us what you learn.

Joanna,
Sending PMA your way as well. Remember, it's silly to worry about things that are beyond our control. (I know, I know, I should take my own advice - ha!)

Hello you wonderful JuJu Jelly Babies

Well back from the scan and Mr T said all was looking good :D - to me it was just grey, black and white but he obviously saw something I didn't   Anyway, waiting for the results of the blood test and then I will know if I start stimming today or in a couple of days.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to use the auto-injector so I shall have to do the actual injection myself  :?

I hope that you are all well and things are going smoothly for you.

LittleP, glad to hear everything is looking good. I know what you mean about the scan, black bits, white bits, grey bits....I guess you just have to take Mr T's word for it :D

I hope you don't mind me asking but why can't you use the pen? I found them really easy to use....not too sure about the new ones though, they look a bit cumbersome and take up loads of room in the fridge! Guess I will work it out when the time comes.

Hope your blood results give you the go ahead to start stimming....after such a long wait it is all happening quickly for you now..yay!!

Take care
Heather

Heather

Unfortunately it is something to do with the length of the needle - they have said when I'm next down to take the auto-injector in and they will have a look and see if it can be used - I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I will update as soon as I get that phone call.

Hi I'm a late addition to the June/July cycle as I've been pretending it's not really happening for ages. I put something on the June/July roll call yesterday but then I noticed this thread too. Still don't get what the difference is, but thought I should say hello here too.

I was here this time last year but had a very bad time of it, so I've spent a long time not thinking about IVF at all. Started my down regging injections this morning, so I have to face up to it now!

hope you're all having a good day, despite the miserable weather (well it is here anyway)
