Oh you naughty girl - try really hard not to give in and test early. It's only an extra 24 hours to wait and you are doing so well. Just think less than a week and you'll know for sure :D

Sending huge amounts of PMA to you and loads of hugs

I had the insemination done on Wednesday 18th so Wed 1st is 14 days later, so not early really. Just but 3 hours!! Lol!!

I had insemination at 10am, I could wee test at 7am, I would only be 3 hours early.

If i wait til Thurs 2nd then I would be late 21 hours!!

Make sence??

Oh yes it does make sense totally

I know it's dreadful this waiting isn't it. You don't have to have the HCG injection do you so there shouldn't be any reason why you could get a false +ve :D

Fingers crossed Nicki and loads of Baby Dust to you.

Hi Alison ... I really hope that you've had ET by now ??? Let us know how it went ...

Jane .. You're doing well Jane, not that long to go now. 4 more sleeps and you are there. Are you doing plenty of positive visualisation - imagining little embies snuggling down ?? I hope so ..

Clare .. Glad you're feeling more positive today Clare. These drugs do do this to us - positive one minute, the opposite the next .. it's quite normal, but that's no comfort I know.

Nicola .... NICOLA !!! Why ?? You must not test until your test day !!! If there is any ambiguity with the result, you'll kick yourself ..

Hope everyone else is okay today ..

I didnt say anything but did a little skip inside.
But apart from that wobbly boobs and a few twinges.Had a busy week so my maind was off it now its Satuarday and I've nothing else to think off. So anyway to anyone out there who is thinking of an early test dont do it, it will drive you mad.

Bron, that does sound like a good omen.

Nicki, try to restrain yourself for an extra day. I know its hard but the result will be more definite if you wait til the proper day. (I'm trying to give you the sensible advice here - if I were you I'd be tempted to test early too!

Sandra, thank you so much for thinking of me. We did indeed finally have e/t yesterday afternoon. One had made it to blastocyst and another one had made it to the pre-blastocyst clumpy stage. I was so relieved! Also it turned out that one of the embies they'd been going to put back earlier in the week had stopped dividing, so I felt we made the right decision to wait longer.

So I'm now finally on the 2ww proper. Its our 7th, so trying to maintain the PMA while having a degree of realism about our chances. I know that come the middle of next week I'll be knicker-checking like mad, as I've always bled before test day. But at the moment I'm just trying to visualise them hatching out of their shells and nesting down!

Anyway, enjoy the long weekend ladies, and speak soon.

Hi girls thinking of you all the time

Nicola - please don't test early. I only did a pee stick ON MY TEST DAY because the results hadn't come back that evening. It was a very faint +ve and I kicked myself afterwards and was in hell til I had the blood test confirmation. I know you are using your logic....it's up to you in the end and we'll support you whatever you decide.

Alison so glad about your embies, they sound well dudey 8) 8) 8) now at last you are on the 2ww

Bron - sea air smells sound good - must be a sign

Clare, glad things are going well keep up the PMA

Baby dust to all of you sweeties and lots of 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Sounds like you need a boost of PMA, and a big cyber hug. I know all to well how you are feeling - the 2ww is a nightmare and it does make you change your mind about positive and negative feelings, but try and stay strong and keep believing.

We will be here with you every step of the way and cheering loudly on Thursday for you.

Big hugs, tons of PMA and bucket loads of Baby Dust.

Oh Nicola .. I can relate to what you're going through ... As you know, swings of emotion is especially common during the 2nd week. Dp's right of course .. keeping busy to take your mind off things would help .. but it's just not that easy is it ?

It's Saturday, so there's bound to be a load of mindless kak on tv tonight to keep you mildly amused ....?

Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Maybe if we get that sunny weather they've been threatening, you could get out and get some fresh air ?

Thanks Sandra and LP, lovely to know you understand what I mean. and just reading your posts has cheered me up.

I decided to give some time to dh and we just went off for a quicky!! I know he's been gagging for it, and been so good not pestering me etc.... I thought we'd just have a quicky (too damn hot for much else!!!) :D We ended up in tears afterwards. Both of us, really big sobs. I know that dh is hard on the outside but inside he's so sad that he cant give me a baby, he's afriad that this wont work either and then I will leave him and find a man who has got sperm. I told him he was daft and I loved him whatever. But this is the first time I have got any truth outta him in these last 2 weeks. I still feel quite tearful an touchy. he's a sleep!!
Men huh???

Awe Nikki
you have a good man there sweetie. It is tough for them too only they hide it really well. Josh couldn't sleep last night and we were both wrecks this morning waiting for them to call with the results. He said we wouldn't tell anyone but family until the 1st tri was over. Ha he called everyone.
THey are just so darn cute when they aren't drving you nuts.
Keep the PMA up it's been a good month for May and I have good feelings about June.
Love
