Sandra. Not having the bag of crisps definitely counts. On that first list of 4 rules, I included forgoing naughties.
I might as well post mine now as we're off an an hour or so and not much will change between now and then.
1. Healthy Body: I walked very quickly for 15mins between the hosp (stitches out) and town. It was pouring and very cold so I didn't hang around.
2. Healthy Mind: Tonight's dinner out will be pure indulgence and a special 1:1 for DF and I (thanks for that tip LittleP!). The restaurant got 6/6 stars in the reviews, costs a bomb and should be a real lift for our spirits.
Mia. I like the concept of 'would I give this to my child?', should help keep us on track.
Becky. 6lbs is great, a really good start. Way to go!
Debra.

So far today I have had muesli and skimmed milk, sandwich at lunchtime with some beetroot (which I love but managed to drop all over my white t-shirt ), a yoghurt and an apple. Haven't done much exercise apart from running up and down stairs a few times as had very busy day at work.
I DID eat some Pringles earlier though , which are very nice but wouldn't want to eat them all the time

This is fun. I can brag about all the good things I do.
I swear for this past week I have eaten healthier than I have ever done before. I dropped 12 pounds!!! I am worried that is way too much too fast, so I am going to have to up my calories a bit. But secretively it does feel good even if it is mostly water.
I agree with Julie, a pedometer really motivates you to move! Plus keeping a food journal is an excellent idea. Writing everything down keeps you eating healthy!
Alright, here are my good thing for the day.
At work I hand delivered some papers and then I took the long way back.
I also drank all my water that i am suppose to for the day.
Exercise is the hardest for me, but thanks to you girls I will have to get up and move. That is if I want to keep posting positives.
I can proudly say i haven't touched chips for two weeks - a record!
Today:
1. I started eating wholewheat bread -it's quite good in fact!
2. Had a nice meal made of grilled veggies and brie cheese! Felt real
good and made me quite ful.
3. started drinking lots of herbal tea.
The only thing is i'm spending the weekend with my parents ans there's a birthday party...oooops.
you did good and you deserve a break.. i was going to go for a walk but it is 87 degrees out side and i aint going out in that heat...
but i am drinking lots of water....
ahhh and love love chips to.. and they have came out with so many good kinds..
you have a great time with your mom..
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
I shook my butt out of bed this am and went for a jog - just a little one. I'm in bad shape right now, I haven't played soccer for about 4 months. Felt like I wanted to die, but felt good for having started it.
I'll try again tomorrow, and add a little distance. My teammates would be laughing their heads off if they could see me running now!

I have a pedometer and it does sometimes encourage me to walk that little bit further Perhaps I should start taking my cats out for walks

1. porrage with skimmed milk, raisins + honey for breakfast
2. gardening for an hour.
I'm gearing myself up for my 1st June proper kick-off.
I'm in awe of your jog Denise...you're obviously usually a super fit person hence your comment about football team mates....makes me tired just thinking about it!
Two good things - I got up early and went to Tai chi and I have had strawberries instead of naughty things!!
Got to go - but wanted to pop in to say hi
Love you all

Forgot to say well done to Becky and Mia for the weight lose so far.
Mia 12 pounds is very quick but as long as you are eating enough of the things you need -I am sure it will be fine
It is sunny here so I am not so hungry today - although the neighbours had a BBQ last night and the smell of those lovely burgers was killing me but I was good I made some chilli.
Today I have been good - but I cheated I stayed in bed until 11am and then I have done some retail therapy. DH bought me some gym gear (early Bday present)
Good luck to everyone
Love
Julie

Well ... this afternoon I made chicken (with chilli, garlic and ginger) wraps, with tomato, red pepper and spring onion .... yum yum .. oh, and yoghurt and chilli sauce .. ehm ehm ... lots of antioxidants eh ..?
Have made a stew for tea, which may be a little on the cholestrol-y side (?), but is full of beef, carrots, onions, green beans etc .... must be good for you really ?
Julie ... I wish I wasn't hungry when the sun's out ... Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to dampen my appetite. You were strong though, resisting those burgers. Well done.
Debra - Yummy porridge is a good old favourite of mine ... I often used to take a bowl full, covered in strawberries, grapes, apple, raisens ... whatever fruit we had in .. to work with me, and ate it throughout the morning. It's really filling and nutritious. Em, think I'll start doing that again .. Thanks for the idea ..

Hi, does cleaning windows and tidying up my spare room count as exercise?
In a bid to eat more healthily I have found a recipe site - www.fatfree.com - and I am going to try some of the recipes on there....
I have had loads of water today too
