Hi Little P, Sand and girls

I have just got back from a 2 week stay in St Mary's Hospital. Developed a really bad bout of OHSS from day 9. Horrible. I was put on a drip and watched very closely. Fluid got into my lungs, as well as everywhere else, so it was very scary. It's still not all gone but I am so much better than I was.

The good news is that I am pregnant

So all the suffering has been worth it. Feel numb with shock.

Hope everyone is doing ok. I really missed you all.

OMG - firstly CONGRATULATIONS - way to go, what a fantastic result

I am so sorry that you had to go through so much to get there

you poor thing, I hope that you are ok now.

As you say the good thing is that you are pregnant and that is the result you so wanted. Now, look after yourself, take care of the little one and remember take it easy over the next 9 months.

Thanks Little P . I couldn't have got through my treatments without this board. I will stay on and follow everyone's progress.

It's weird. You'd think getting a BFP would make me do cart wheels. But instead it brings a whole new set of worries. DH and I can't wait for the scan on 13th June. I think part of me needs to see them to believe they are there. Daft aren't I.

Poor you having to cope with OHSS. Thank goodness they monitored you well. There is a first trimester thread running at the moment with other ladies also waiting for scans. Hope you come and join in.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! I'm sorry about your rough time getting there.
Since you are 40 I am curious to know if you used your own eggs or donor? Please forgive me if you've already told us or prefer not to.
I'm watching this issue closely. Any info would be appreciated.

Suz, CONGRATULATIONS. What a dreadful couple of weeks you have had but I am so happy that you got your BFP. Hope the OHSS has settled and that you are feeling loads better. Can't wait to hear the results of your scan.
