Jenna

Thanks for updating!
I am on my second FET. I have all the same worries but at least at our age our eggs should be good quality, so that is a positive thing.

During the first go, 3 were thawed and one didnt survive - so they thawed 1 more. They put 2 back, but really only 1 was dividing ok. But that is all it takes!

You have an excellent 9 - so probably enough for 2 FET? I have 8 left and this time they are going to thaw 4 from the start. I feel like telling them to thaw the whole lot to try to get 2 good ones to put back!

I am sure our little frosties are strong - if they survive freezing temperatures surely they will make strong babies?!!

Here, they can only transfer 2. Can you transfer more?

Lumi,I am in Arizona, so we can transfer however many we choose fit. I will be transferring 3, I think... I am afraid to transfer too many, but I am more afraid to not become pregnant...Very confusing.

I am hoping to have enough for 2 FET's. But with such long downregging, I don't know how many more months I can stand this Lupron. It is really wearing me down.

I hope this go round works for you... I am sure it will!
You are right, all it takes is one :)

Kristi

Hi there - don't worry, we will all be here to help! Good luck with it all :D

Jenna - that is a tricky thing to decide (how many to ET). In a way I am pleased that the descion is made for me. I think 3 max is sensible though.

How long does lupron take? I am on buserelin. As I have PCOS and long irregular cycle, I dont think it makes many changes to my body ie. I havent ovulated since my last period anyway and I wont have AF before the transfer. Once suppressed I will start oestrogen. I dont know if medically that is true, but I tell myself that and so dont feel many changes going on. I am headachy though  . I am on bus. for 2/3 weeks, then bus/patches for approx. 2 weeks. before ET.

Keep in there with the Lupron! :

Chanteq

Hi there - it's such a relief isn't it when AF finally decides to make an appearance :) Mine showed up last week and I have my scan on Wednesday to see how the down-regging has gone. Hopefully I will be given the go ahead to start the stimming drugs and move on to the next stage. I never thought I would be looking forward to injections

How are you feeling - let me know how you get on with the consultation and what your dates are going to be?

Good luck and loads of PMA and hugs

Little P

Baseline Scan

Post by wildfox »

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all doing ok?

I had my baseline scan today and everything went well, so I am starting my injections tomorrow ( 1 day earlier as they want me to be ready for E/C on my planned date of 13 June).

I cant' believe it has come round so quickly.

That's great news, Chrissy. It really helps to have those dates to see into the future and feel like things are moving forward! You sound happy! Hope everything goes perfectly to plan for you.

I'm so glad that there are a few of us who can share this time - I'd forgotten how it makes you feel as the days start ticking by and the serious bit gets closer and closer

How are you at the moment?

Hi everyone :o

My doc gave me Metformin to take for a month after which then i'll start with BCP.

So i guess now i'm without any dates on the treatments coz it really depends on my cycle....

.....sigh.... back to the waiting game.....
