I had to stop taking bursarelin/menopur injections a few weeks ago but was wondering how long it takes your body to get back to normal?!?!? Well how long it takes for af to get back to normal.
I have 3 ovarian cysts and a polyp in my womb and am booked in for the op this wednesday. Only they cant do it if im on af!!!!

i am sorry.....
when i had my ceyst and i thought it was all over
the doc reasured me that it wasnt.
they just went in and drained it and sent it off to make sure that my cancer wasnt back..

but from my understanding it is normaly a 3 month time..
after my mc. i had to go back on the pill then af came and then started
the treatment all over again..

we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter

I had only one natural AF in10 weeks after last FET but doctor said it didnt matter I could start again - in that time the drugs were out of my system
Perhaps they will scan before operating? Judge the lining thickness? I don't know!!!

During my first treatment last year I had to stop the brserilin because of cysts. They let me have one AF and I started again the cysts were still there but not as big, however when it came to EC they found a polyp and wouldn't do the tranfer so it was a total freeze for me and they drained the cysts. Touch wood they never came back.
I whent in for my plyp removing and said I was having my AF they said they would go ahead depending on how heavy it was. Unfortunately it was day 2 so they couldn't do anything but i had it removed the following week and the Consultant said I only needed to wait one AF before starting again.
Hope this helps and best of luck. By the way I had mine removed under a local it didn't hurt and I was fine to go back to work within a couple of days.

I had a cyst drained and went on to do my first IVF following my next AF. I have had no more cysts since. I will keep my fingers crossed also that AF does not turn up before the op.
