Hi Julie ... A weekly weigh in, for those who want to, sounds okay to me ... I'll do it (when scales purchased) although I'm not too bothered about loosing weight - just need to get rid of flab.

Debra's set up a thread already for us fitties - you may have seen it ..?

Think I'll join the fit list

Post by DeniseM »

I'm up for joining you guys in taking off a few pounds.. now that I'm no longer pg, I don't want to look like I am - leads to uncomfortable questions.

Slept in this am, and forgot about the blood test. Fortunately they let me pop up this aft.

Made an apt. for June 9 to speak with the dr. regarding our next options.

Beta results back

Post by DeniseM »

I spoke with my case manager, who told my the Beta results are down to 260. Waiting now for it to return to 0.

I go back June 9 for another Beta, and to speak with my dr. again.

The nurse was very good to talk to, she sympathized with the situation, and said that probably won't happen again, that until the scan everything was normal. This is a relief.

So one more week of waiting, then apts again.

Hi Nicki, I can't say 'ignore it' we both know it doesn't work like that BUT.......you know that we have to keep positive until we absolutely know otherwise. Anything else is just too difficult.

Just a few days to go....you can do it :)

hugs

Nicky as I said on the other thread I am sooo sorry much as I would love to cycle with you in August I am sooo sorry that this will be the case :(

Take care of yourself

Does anyone know when (roughly) I could expect my AF :?: Had a -ve result on the 13th May and usually cycle 32 days (give or take a couple if my body want to mess with my head :!: )

Also having a mild panic as when I phoned the hospital to tell them my result (I did a HPT) they said would you like another go and I said yes and she said that it didn't say on my notes if we got one or 2 goes :!:

I know we are lucky to even get one go for free - we were told 2 originally I think you only get one if you are over 35 - DH is 36 :!: Well I will just have to ask when we go on the 16th

Nicki, so sorry it looks like AF is here. Will you test anyway? No consolation but there are plenty of us to support you in August, should you need another go. Don't give up hope just yet.

Jules. An extra 7+++ days is quite normal. Someone asked this in a stand-alone thread very recently, I'll see if I can find and bump it up. The general consensus was 'late is normal. Good luck with your follow-up, fingers crossed you get a 2nd.

Debra.

Hi Nicola. Nearly all of us are here following a recent -ve. We know how hard it is to smile and carry on and pretend we wanted to be an August buddy instead of on the other side.

Welcome anyway, lovely to have more friendly faces.

hugs
