Late AF after IVF treatment

:wink: Good morning all,
Just a quick question, we had a negative result after our first IVF in april, my AF were due on the 26th but i'm now 2 days late and did a HPT this morning which is negative!!!!
Don't have any AF symptoms which i usually get, had spotting and cramps couple of weeks ago.
Is it normal to be late after IVF treatment? i'm always 2-3 days early.

Delly, it's extremely normal to be late after treatment. Your body's natural cycle was taken over by the meds so will take longer to adjust. I've had to wait a week extra on average.

Hi Delly ... As per D, tmt's always delayed my next AF by a few days... and as we know, the more we think about it and wish it, the longer it takes ..!

Just to confirm my AF was very late after treatment. I know it's a pain and just another thing to worry about but try and relax and it will show soon.

Delly - mine was about a week late after I stopped last time - and I didn't even get to EC and ET then

Hope it arrives soon - it is the one thing that can really get to you - you want it - it's late - you don't want it - there it is :!: :!:

Delly - mine was one week late. I think we cycled at the same time in April. Has it arrived yet? Don't worry, it will come.

1st IVF 04/05 -ve
2nd IVF (FET) 06/05 -ve
FET July - cancelled as embryo did not survive
3rd IVF (stimulated cycle) - no embryos!
4th IVF 02/06 -ve
January 07 - went interstate to a new clinic and got BFP!!!!!!!

Mine af was late after treatment. Think it a physcilogical thing when you are waiting it doesn't happen.

Hope it arrives very soon and then you can move on!!!
