Hi Girls
Just want to share with you all that Alex is now walking. He used to be able to do it when I held his hand but now he loses and goes for it. He does tend to get a little excited and start to walk fast but then he loses his balance and falls over. People say that I will need eyes everyone, so if anyone wants to build some in the back of my head it would be appreciated.

Well I need to get some of those cupboard locks, I should of got some ages ago but never done it but must sort it. I tell you you could keep adding to things couldn't you what you need to move.

Hi Shell....yes the fun does begin now. You suddenly realise how darn easy having an immobile child is the day AFTER they start walking!
We didn't go crazy baby proofing the house. We tried initally but she ripped off the rubber table corners we put on, learned how to open the cupboard + drawer locks (and we put 2 different types on) but she already operates my MIL's stereo to put her Bob the Builder CD on + puts dvds in and out of our dvd machine I suspect she's smarter than us! We moved somethings higher but gradually moved them back, we can't live in house where everything is waist height so books and photos are back lower down and we try to teach her to look after our things - it works sometimes! The kitchen cupboards are now open at ground level and after a few weeks of interest, she's moved on.
We put DD into full-time kindergarten at 15m so didn't have the all-day watching problems so don't have lots of advice on that score. She did drive us insane unplugging everything (watch the fridge/freezer) and switches off the tv now constantly if DF is watching the news and she wants Teletubbies.
Re. how am I? OK I guess. I've a sharp pain which I hope is nothing more than a pulled muscle, it's behind the top incision/stitches so I'm going to keep an eye on it. Definite pain on picking DD up and even as I sit here. Looking forward to the clinic on Monday, we're months away from our next try but it's the beginning of either a new start or the end. Either way, we'll have a better idea of our future plans.

TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Wow Shell, that's fab - and well done Alex!!
He and Sam have virtually the same birthday and I can safely say he's not at that stage - the lazy begger. Cruising is no probs, but kness at all other times!!! I keep using his prematurity as his excuse, but I think he's just determined to do things his way...LOL

Zoe I have sent you a pm I haven't been around much because I am having a lot of problems which at the moment I don't really want to disucss on here because its not right. I know Sam will do it when he is ready he won't be forced, Alex still crawls at times though but just trying to run now.
