Just to confirm it is a BFN

Have follow up appointment for mid June when we can discuss whether or not we can re run treatment.

Found out today though that the 6 eggs I produced were all of a fairly decent quality therefore nurse seemed quite positive that we may be able to run again.

She also said that many fall at the last hurdle and not to get depressed about it.

So feeling quite positive and looking forward to going to Blackpool this weekend. Cant be bad welsh vales last weekend sea and sand this.

Gail and Nicki - I am so sorry about your news, but it's good to hear you both sounding so positive about the future.

Don't forget to give yourselves the time to come to terms with this - it is an arduous journey and exhausting emotionally, so make sure you both indulge in a few "naughty" things.

Big hugs to you both and I hope that you both enjoy your get-aways :D

Done the hormonal thing of floods of tears but have now accepted things and on the way back up.

Feeling much better and more positive.

DP done a lot of talking and feeling pushed away because he couldnt stop me crying but tried to make him understand that its just hormones and in time I will be much better.

He cant wait for me to stop AF so that he can have his treat. He says the hardest part of the treatment has been not being ablr to have his fun.

Secretly I cant wait too.

Gail same as you...dh (and me for that matter) cant wait for AF to go then we can resume passion in the bedroom!!

Been so off sex during the 2ww in case it hurt the baby!! Silly I know, but next time we will carry on the same I think......... I think i was over cautious in my 2ww!

Nicki - I think it's different with IUI, but during IVF/ICSI they don't recommend any passion during the 2ww - just another thing to make it longer and longer :(

Anyway, I wish you both wonderful evenings when you are feeling up to it :lol: :D

I'm so glad that both of you are focusing on the future and being positive. There's no shame in crying, we've all been there and it's good to get it out. It's a hard time for you but just remember we're here if you need a shoulder or a place to scream and shout.

my clinic said no sex for 10 days, but other people who have had IUI say do have sex....
