That's fantastic - well done you, what a wonderful harvest.

Now get that R&R and look after yourself. I will keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well overnight - let us know how the phone call goes.

Big hugs and PMA

Hi Everyone
I am feeling much better today and reading Zita Wests book, so far it looks good apart from the giving up chocolate bit!

I am going to hang around if thats ok to see how you all do, I am so excited for you all now it is really kicking off and who knows I may be a JuJu Jelly Baby yet.

Little P
Good news about your bloods ! do you have a scan soon? Is it your first time with Mr T I can't remember? If so and you are going in over the weekend I would warn you the blood letting clinic can get very very busy I had waits of almost an hour last time!

Loopy
Well done what a good count. Dont feel bad about doing nothing your body has been through a lot and needs to recover and repair itself and get ready for cooking your little embies. Good luck for tomorrow when the clinic call.

Gail
I hope your hormones settle down soon it is the last thing you need right now!

Hope everyone else is doing well and have a good weekend!

Ellie

This is my first time with Mr T.

 Thanks for the warning - I am going in tomorrow just for a blood test and then on Sunday but don't know whether that's a scan or not yet. They said it might be but depends on how the blood test comes back!! I will go prepared for a wait then.

Do you know how long roughly it is from beginning of stimming injections to EC? I know everyone is different but I've sort of worked on 10-16 days is that about right?

I'm glad that you are feeling brighter today. I know it's a real pain that you have to wait - I will keep everything crossed that it is only a very short wait :D

Big hugs and PMA

Loopy,

Well done on your harvest. You need to make sure now that you rest up as much as you can prior to ET. Incase you aren't already, please make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

I hope you get good news tomorrow r.e. fertilisation. I remember feeling that I ought to be keeping them company in the lab!

All the best with ET and the 2WW.

Loopy,
Wonderful results on your EC!!! I'll be happy with half that!

LittleP,
Yes, 10-16 days has been my experience both times for stimming.

At my US and blood work today they moved my EC day up to Monday! They counted 7 follies, but only 3 measured over 10 - one was over 19. Last round all my follies seemed to stay close to the same measurement -which is what you want. And I went from a count of 6 or 7 to 12 by EC day. This round seems very different. I've just not felt very fertile. Anyway, day-9 scan tomorrow, then probably I will give myself  the HCG shot tomorrow night (my sweetie will be out of town).

That's the BIG shot with the LONG needle in the BUTT!!! I'm not sure I can do it. I'm gonna round up a good back up just in case. Let's see, how many people will that bring my count to of people who've seen my behind???? We have little dignity when this is all over with, ya know!

Hi JuJu Jelly Babies!! I am back!! I felt so lost the past 2 weeks without the internet and I have so much to catch up on! ...I have not had the time yet to read all the new posts - but will do so this afternoon. Vienna is nice but still trying to get adjusted...strange being in a new city again - I feel really lost and I forgot how hard it is being somewhere new. To be honest I was really lazy the past couple of weeks but wanted to get the dogs adjusted to their new home.

Some news from my side - after discussing with my husband and then later with the Acu doc - I have decided to do the next round in September. I am really afraid to be rushed if something happens to my schedule and my clinic has the august holiday coming up. My acu doc believes I have some more work to go on getting my blood flowing better. I went yesterday and to be honest it hurt more then the first time. She said cuz it was working through all the blockages. She put a needles in my knee area and it REALLY hurt and she said this point was connected to my uterus, and she put a needle in for the 'door of life' and this really hurt - so I have some more work required.

I will continue to support all you guys and chat with the JuJu Jelly Babies but will have to start a September thread.

Be back later after I have caught up with all the happenings!

Hey Traci, glad to see you are back. It is always horrible moving somewhere new isn't it? It is hard to establish a whole new life somewhere else. You sound really outgoing so I am sure you will get your bearings fairly quickly...and Vienna...I am so envious. It is the most beautiful place. Enjoy it!

Sorry to hear you are not going to be cycling with me again. :( I am pleased though that you have made a definite decision about the timing of your next treatment and that the acupuncturist will be able to ensure your womb is in tip top shape by September. I hope your next acupuncture treatment is not as painful as the last. Does it get less painful over time?

Well, I hope you and the puppies settle in quickly....and good luck with the Realtor!

Have a good weekend.

Cheers

Hi girls

Just been to do my daily blood test and now waiting for the results.

Good to have you back Traci. Looks like your holiday was both good fun and constructive - by September you will be feeling ready again and happy to go through it all, it is good to have a break from this.

So, how are we all fairing today? Looks like another cold rainy day!!!

Hugs to you all.

Update time:

Just had my phone call from the hospital - got to do the same drugs again tonight, continue with nasal spray, go for a blood test tomorrow morning and my first scan. :D

Obviously I will bore you all with "my me moment" again tomorrow - sorry for so indulgent :?

Hope everyone is ok.

LittleP,
You are never boring! You know how it is... we pour over every word on these threads and enjoy it because the IVF thing is on our minds 24/7 and there's no one else in the world who could stand discussing it as much as we need to, except our fellow IVFers! PLUS, I think we all learn a lot in the details. At least I do.

Bad news for me. Today's scan showed no progress on all but one follie. In fact, some of the others shrunk
Clinic recommended cancelling. Said the best we could do would be to get 1 "maybe" 2 eggs and then probably lose them in the other processes.

Couldn't get dh on the phone to make the decision, so I made it.
I took the HCG shot this a.m. and that gives us the chance to try naturally when dh gets back tomorrow.
If he STILL wants to go another round to try to harvest before getting pregnant, then we can just abstain.
Clinic said every cycle is different. I could easily get many more next time, even at my age. All ages have cycle variance like this. Makes me feel a little better.
Oh well. Guess we'll see what dh wants to do when he gets back.

I hope everyone else gets better results on their follie growth and egg development.

Hi Ladies

LittleP, don't for a minute think that you are boring us. I love reading everyones updates and I find all the information sharing to be incredibly useful. Everyone has different experiences and this has helped me enormously when making decisions about my own treatment and when preparing for visits to my clinic....I am now alway armed with a bunch of questions that would probably not have occurred to me had I not had you wonderful ladies in my life. DH has also commented that he is glad I found this board as he felt his support was lacking in many aspects and this kind of filled the gap. I can't wait to hear the results of your scan. It will be nice to know that all this isn't in vain. Good Luck.

Randa, sorry to hear about your follies. It must have been a hard decision to make without DH. I hope he gets back in time and that you get the go ahead with your plan. It would be a shame to waste all that hard work. I have read that results for women in our age group can vary considerably from treatment to treatment. Try not to worry about it too much as I am sure (if DH doesn't want to go ahead with your plan) that next cycle will produce a bumber crop. Good luck to you also.

Happy Sunday to all.

Hello Juju Jelly Babies

Welcome back Tracii. It is hard settling to a new place - if you arent cycling yet then you MUST relax and enjoy the summer!

Little P - I love reading everyones news. We all follow such different routines. I am still injecting each morning and go for my first suppressed scan on Tuesday. I am quite excited! I havent had AF - but that is normal for me. Hopefully I can start oestrogen after that :D

Randa - sorry for the delay. It must have been hard without DH but you seem to have it all in hand. You are amazing.

Take care and good night :D
