Thanks friends, that's really kind of you. This was a lovely surprise when I logged on this morning - thanks Sandra. I'm doing ok aside from the insomnia (was on the boards at 4.30 this morning!) Don't think I've ever got this close to testing without AF showing up so hoping that's a good sign.... Nicki, have a fab holiday, and thanks for all your support.

Hi girls, Thanks a ton for the positive vibes. I'm feeling pretty down in the dumps. I had some spotting (which def should NOT be, due to prog shots), and did the taboo hpt thing. Got a neg and am now convinced that this cycle is doomed. I just checked out info on others who did hpt at 10dp3dt and seems like most get a pos by now. So sorry to add to the bad news for June, but maybe I helped increase someone else's odds. Good luck to you, Allison. Stay positive and I am very sorry to be such a downer.

As Denise says try and stay positive - there have been situations when girls have tested too early and it shows -ve, but when you test on the official date it is +ve.

Elena, how could you!! (Although the only thing keeping me away from the hpt that I know is lurking at the back of the cupboard is that I had an HCG shot last week and I'm worried about a false positive!).

Seriously though, I'm sorry you're feeling down, but 10 days past a day 3 transfer sounds very early to me, especially for an hpt. My blood test on Monday will be 10 days past a 6 day transfer, and they say that the blood tests pick up results that home tests don't. So try not to give up on your embies just yet.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better Elena - not long now!

I must confess I went rummaging for the HPT this morning, and was very tempted, but it was past its sell-by date (I hope that's not some sort of message to me about my sell-by date!!) so I managed to stop myself.

I probably won't be able to post my result til tomorrow evening as I go back to work tomorrow and won't hear til early afternoon.
