Hi Nika, welcome to the site. Try posting on the general forum - you may get more replies as more people read the posts on there.
I would suggest talking to a couple of acupuncturists and asking whether they specialise in fertility treatment. Are you in the UK? Try the website of the British Acupuncture Council www.acupuncture.org.uk for your local clinics. That's where I found mine from and I talked to him about infertility before I started having treamtent, I think some specialise in different things so have a chat with them first to see if they can help your spcific case.
Hope that helps, good luck with your treatment
Lots of love

Hi Nika

I have just had my first ICSI cycle and got a positive. I had acupuncture once a week for approx a month prior to ET and then on the day of ET had it before and after. There have been studies in Germany and USA which show an increased chance of IVF working when you have acupuncture alongside it. If you type acupuncture and IVF in a search engine it should give you some info. Apparently it can increase the receptivity of the uterus to an embryo. I also found it very relaxing following each treatment, which cant be a bad thing when you are undergoing something as stressful as IVF!!
Good luck with your treatment

Hi and welcome to the site.

You will find that loads of girls have tried acupuncture so there is a lot of helpful information here - have you done a search.

If you post on the General Forum as well you will get a lot more replies.

Good luck with your treatment.

Hi Nika .. Welcome to the Site. Acupuncture is something I've recently looked into to too, and am hoping it will help. We've found that some acupuncturist don't believe in running treatment parallel to IVF, so maybe you'll need to check out a couple.

Good luck !

Hi - I'm doing ICSI too (3rd cycle hopefully July) and this time I'm doing acupuncture. As the others have said, there are practitioners who specialise in treating women undergoing IVF and I go to a guy in London who works specifically in this area. He is very clued up in general about IVF procedures and also about specific clinic practises (he's on Harley Street so works closely for eg with the ARGC - the clinic that got the best results in the recent HFEA survey). I have a great cycle (his words) so haven't any specific conditions (endo etc) that he can work on, but I am going to see him as often as I can during the cycle prior to down-regging and throughout my IVF cycle. It cannot do me any harm, only hopefully some good.
