Just back from the hospital - waiting for call from Nurse later today and will discuss the water situation with her.

Caroline (and Randa) thanks so much for the advise, I am going to be cautious where drinking too much is concerned and will ask if I really need to increase by that amount.

Starting to get very tired now, just feel like flopping down and going to sleep - unfortunately loads to do.

How is everyone feeling today?

Faith, did you manage to get your drugs sorted via Boots?

Big hugs to you all and thanks for all your help and guidance everyone.

Love

Little P

Hi Everyone,

Well, I've just been and picked my drugs up from Boots and then had to rush home and put the Pregnyl in the fridge. I've made a teaching appointment at the clinic for Friday afternoon, so all of a sudden it seems like things are happening! Is it normal to feel part excited, part terrified? I suppose it is....

I've had a quick look through the stuff and I don't seem to have any syringes with the Menopur....is this normal? I told the clinic and they said they'd go through everything, so I suppose I will buy them from there? I didn't like the look of the syringes with the Cetrotide.... Looked a bit big to me!

Glad you have got your drugs sorted - your hospital will provide any needles/syringes that you need so don't worry about that.

Yes, it is perfectly normal to be excited and nervous - I reckon most of us go through those emotions :D

Good luck with the appointment - let us know how it goes won't you.

Big hugs

My daily update ....

Continue with nasal spray, same Gonal F injection and back tomorrow for another blood test. Also got to collect more drugs, prescription for additional drugs to do with NK cells which I start taking tomorrow and my HCG injection.

If everything goes well and the follie fairy and endo elf both choose to be kind, then EC will be Saturday, Sunday or Monday (they think!).

After all this, I can't believe it is nearly here - I can admit now that I am getting very anxious  :!:

Hope everyone is ok.

Faith ... My Pregyl injection was only 5000 units .. (and that was preprinted on the sheet .. as though that's a standard dose they give everyone) .... but then I saw Heather's reply. Heather obvoiusly had the 10,000 too ...

It makes no sense ..how can we all be treated so differently ...

Little P

I was thinking about your water situation. Perhaps you don't ned to drink more, but have small sips all day. Your body may retain more ? :?: You are probably doing this already!

I know I can finish my water bottle and need the loo about 2 mins later  . But if I have it at my desk and finish it in an hour, I am not in such a rush for the loo!!! :)

My ' me moment' - going for first scan tomorrow. Very excited  .

Thinking of you all :D

LittleP,

Blimey I can't believe you're almost at EC. Hang on in there for the next few days - a wee bit of anxiety is not a bad thing. Keep thinking positive thoughts.

All the waiting around is hard but you need to pull on that strength you have and believe that your dream is about to come true - and it is.

Sending you a big cyber hug and trailer loads of baby dust across the Border

Take care

Hi JuJUJelly Babies
I hope you are all ok

LittleP
I cant believe it nearly Ec time fingers crossed all is going well and you have plenty of lovely follies full of juicey eggs. Did they warn you towards the end of stimming you get 2 blood tests a day? It was a bit of a shock for me last time. Do you know when you are getting your IVIG?

BigJ
Good luck for your scan can't wait to hear your news, you must be really excited now.

Faith
Good luck with your injections they arew not as bad as they seem .Just keep focused on why you are doing it that made it easier for me.
