...an apology. I should never have mentioned the T-word, sorry

Am doing very badly with healthy eating right now, despite getting back onto the porrage and salad train today.

How is everyone else doing? I need inspiring stories of motivation in cold weather, rain and ice-cream in the freezer.

Debra.

Looks like things are slipping for most of us !! I had pie and pees for lunch yesterday, then just HAD to have a curry last night

I'm working away tomorrow, so will make up for it ... I'm going to make a mega healthy lunch and tea this afternoon, to take with me ... loads of protein, vits and minerals - so I don't have to eat the white cardboard kak they come up with.

Debra - I'm getting quite partial to this brown basmatti rice now .. it's a bit nutty and chewy - in a nice sort of a way !

However ... thinking about that T is making me want to nip to the shop ..

Hi there

no walking today! read somewhere you should give it a rest.

Jules: both. I used to walk a lot then i got a car and stopped walking and started smoking.... i have been real lazy about myself and found a lot of wably bits hanging around my waist so i decided to go healthy. we're not getting any younger so i guess i'm investing in the future.

bought nicoblock and decided to have a go (again!) and stop smoking. it's really so stupid. let's see how i do this time...

Hugs to you all

Girls, I fell off the health wagon this weekend.

DH and I went camping in Algonquin - great northern Ontario park.

After 6 months of abstaining, we bothed smoked cigarettes. And I'm sure beer is heavy on the calories....

Anyways, this week is back to the routine, and I received clearance from the dr. to train with my soccer team, as no treatment until 2 AF's are here. That will take the wait off for sure.

p.s. love those toblerones too, and I'm an absolute fan of Dutch chocolate.. mmmmm

Ladies, I've posted elsewhere too but I'm off on long hols next week + need to take a board break. I've become a bit obsessed and it's not good.

The best of luck keeping the motivation going. Summer is a great time for salads, exercise, eating lightly and thinking healthy, I know we can all do it.

hugs
Debra.

Live detox by Zita West

Post by Tracii »

Have any of you done the liver detox program in Zita's book???? I am beginning to think maybe my liver needs a good cleaning out - after years of abuse. I come from a family who like to have their wine/cocktails at night....and we are meeting my parents in Portugal the beginning of July...was thinking maybe to do the program after Portugal.

Any suggestions?

HI, I'm not sure if I made a big blunder, but I ate chinese food on Friday night(the day I tested positive) to celebrate.. I heard today that its cancerous to the baby.. Is that true? i'm paranoid now.. my doc didnt say to avoid anything, but then I never asked her if i could eat chinese food..
I will appreciate any advice..
Today being sunday my doc is off duty unless its an emergency..

Smita, I think you have absolutely nothing to worry about...I have never heard that about chinese food...but I think everything in moderation is ok..plus think about all the people in China with very healthy babies :D

The thing with chinese food is Mono sodium glutimate.

Most Chinese take aways add it in there cooking. You shouldn't eat MSG whilst preg. or ttc. But I would say just an odd meal wont hurt as long as it's not every night.
