Is anyone else getting a pc virus warning on here?

Post by cmg »

Hi girls

I'm getting a bit worried cos every time I come on to this message board by pc flashes up that it's detected a virus. Doesn't happen if I visit any other website but I've tried closing this down and coming back and the same thing happens. Anyone else getting the same problem?

I dont get it, but a while back we all experienced a odd thing that gave us a pop up message. I would run your virus check!!

Yes! I'm getting a pop up telling me there's a trojan type virus. I don't know what it is, but clicking OK gets rid of the pop up and blocks it. Good luck!

Hi

Have spent all day trying to get onto this message board. It kept coming up with an error message. DH eventually sorted it by writing down the URL (web page) that came up everytime I clicked onto the message board page. DH simply clicked on Tools then selected 'Internet options' then 'security' then added this URL to the resticted sites list. It then enabled me to get back onto the message board. All other websites were ok (including this website other than the message board). Hopefully should be ok now.V.frustrating-I havent got a clue about computers when they go wrong!

Glad it's not just me - not that I'm wishing a virus onto your pc. Weird thing is, I ran my virus checker, it found and deleted 4 viruses, then I came back to the board and got the same virus detection message. Ran my virus checker again but it found nothing. So I don't know if it's picking it up or not now.

Oh well, too late at night to get my head round it now. I'll worry about it tomorrow.

night all

I've had a Trojan yesterday - fingers crossed he hasn't appeared yet today.

If he does I'll run my virus scanner :?
