Niggly Pain during 2ww any ideas?

Post by Thistle »

Well have I been through the mill.

My ec went ok on the 2nd of June, but by the 3rd I was in a lot of pain. So DH took me into hospital and it turned out I had got an infection!!!!

While on morphine for the pain they tried to tell me that I had two embies that were not strong enough to freeze, so if they didn't go back in me they would perish. DH and I decided if that was going to happen we had to give them a small chance by being in me. It all happened in a blur.

I then stayed in hospital for a week  on really strong anti-biotics, my body would fight it then give up and it would get worse again. They were very concerned.

I got home on friday the 10th. (1 week into my 2ww) I have been so poorly my freinds and family haven't recognised me and I think I have possibly hit my all time lowest.

Since thursday I have been having silly niggly pains, like I need to check if af is there. I am on my 4att and I have never felt like this before. It is like a dragging feeling.

Has anybody else felt like this during their 2ww?? :? , or could it just be where my insides were so badly infected.

Any advise would really help because DH is at work today and this is the first day I am home on my own and I can't stop dwelling on it.

Love to all

I had my 2ww at end of May and yes i had niggly pains and cramps. I was reading far to much into it. So my advice is to ignore the pains unless they are killing pains that are un-bearable.
It done my head in with each little twinge.

Just try to relax........ :)

When r u testing?

Sorry about your horrendous ordeal - but now you must remain positive and keep thinking all those good thoughts.

Sending you loads of PMA and hugs

Thank you so much girls.

God this is hard. I am sure I think it every time, but this 2ww seems like the longest yet.

I know lots of people have already said this, but you just need to keep a PMA and wait. I know it is really difficult (I'm not exactly patient myself - especially during the 2ww). Lots of people have said about getting pains during this time but have ended up with a bfp. Try to relax (easier said than done) and best of luck.

Thistle ... Sorry you've had such a bad time recently. Just what you don't need going into your 2ww .. Glad you've come out the other end, and now ONLY have the 2ww to worry about !

I'm sure Maci won't mind me mentioning her, but she too was badly ill during her 2ww - on antibiotics and the lot ... and she went on to get her deserved BFP.

Keep focused Thistle .. lots of positive visualisation and deep relaxing breaths. You won't know the answer until test day ..
