Hello all,
The midwife has just left. We did a birthing plan. I'm hoping for a water birth. However if there is any indication that baby is distressed I have urged for a c-section soner rather than later. Dp wants to hold the baby first and then give her to me. Oh my God, so excited, Is it really going to happen????????????
I'm 33.4 days pg. Two weeks left at work. I am meant to be working at home today but lacking a bit of concentration!!!!
All my baby shopping is done (except for a monitor). The nursery furniture is not put together yet but is in the garage. The dog has even got a birthing present so she doesn't feel left out!!
valli - have you got many friends in the US who will be able to offer support. have any of them recently had babies????? I know my friend found it hard without her parents with her when she gave birth in US, but she did cope and is a wonderful Mum. She just phoned us regualrly and got on the net for support ... like we are doing now.
Jackie - things must be so bloody difficult for you right now if you are still not eating or sleeping. Stitch really has got a strong mummy. You must feel beside yourself but still manage to go shopping and see the reflexologist and post on here. Look after yourself, and do ask for as much help as you can. Stitch seems to be in great shape which is fab.
Toni, Jen, Kim, elizabeth ... hello

. I've got no advice about nausea or cramps, but am suffering too. Some days I am walking as if the baby is half way out. Jen - I tried to wax myself the other day, but had to give up. I don't trust dp either so I also need to make an appt for a wax and trim!!!!!
I must go as I need to get on with work or else I wont get it all done by the time I leave.
Bye from Soph-J
