Hi all

Just an update - the hospital have phoned and say that the little ones are doing fine. They gave me the daily break down which I was happy with :D

As for ET, they will make a decision tomorrow (Day 3) as to when it will be.

I will obviously let you all know as soon as possible.

Hope that you are all well.

Pixiesmom - have you heard anything yet?

Hugs

lil p:- Good luck :) on ET.

Thank you girls for the kind words. I'm trying to stay as positive as I can. There are still about 15 days before I start down regulating still so there's plenty of time for it to go down. They told me that they are going to prescribe me some metformin to help reduce the number of folicles I produce and it will also improve the quality of the eggs. Hopefully, everything will turn out fine for this cycle.

Will keep everything crossed for you - it sounds as though your hospital are really pulling out all the stops to try and make things more comfortable for you and make it happen.

PMA and hugs

Hi all

glad to see things are moving on well for people, though Lana, sorry to hear about your cancelled treatment. Hope you can put this one behind you and have a good break before you try again (or not, of course, if that's what you decide).

Little P, glad to hear the embies are flourishing. You must be getting excited now.

Miss Molly, hope you're getting plenty of rest after FET and that you're feeling ok. BTW, I had to do a real double take until I realised you were in Melbourne - I was thinking how in the world did she get that done and still be home in time to post a message before 7.35am (ok 8.35am, they haven't changed the clocks for summer)!

Kagome, glad to hear that you are keeping positive and that the clinic is still saying this month is possible.

Leanne, hope everything's ok after EC. Settle down with a nice hot water
bottle and put your feet up. Hope you get a good crop.

Lumi, hope the scan and bloods went well and that your skinny endo (do they do that in Starbucks?) is sitting there ready and waiting for patches.

I had my clinic appointment this morning which was pretty routine, just bloods. I was a bit put out to hear my veins described as "floppy" - I'm 43, quite a few bits of me are floppy, but I thought my veins would be holding up! I'm due to start on Gonal F tomorrow unless there's a problem with either my oestrogen level, which they think is unlikely, or my sodium level, which is an extra test they're doing on me after last time. I don't think there'll be a problem as I've been careful not to go overboard with the amount I drink and I'm determined not to spend all afternoon worrying about it.

Sorry if I've missed anyone.

Hi Girls

Caroline
Hope you get the go ahead to start tommorow, it is all beginging to get going isn't it? How are you getting on with all the vitamins? do you rattle?

Little P
Glad all is still going well. Are you hoping for a day 3 or day 5 transfer? I don't really understand which is better, they did day 2 transfers in the old days!!! last time I only made it to day 3 , I guess day 5 is the best????

Missmolly
I hope you are not going too mad yet and getting plenty of rest and thinking positive thouhts.

Kagome
I hope you cyst goes down, if not can they drain it?

Lana
Sorry you have had to cancel this cycle but I am sure you made the right choice.

Lumi
How did the scan go?

Hope everyone else is doing ok,it is all happening now on here,if I get the go ahead next month I might just squeeze into being a JuJu Jelly Baby.

Apparently a 5 day transfer is the ultimate, but they've told me that they will assess everything early tomorrow morning and let me know what they think. If they look good, then I will take the risk and wait till Friday and just hope and pray that they continue on to make beautiful blastocysts.

I've only ever been given the option of a 3 day transfer with my previous hospital, so this is all new to me.

How are you feeling at the moment?

Good news about starting the patches. Try not to worry about the cyst - I know it's a lot easier to say than to do.

Take care and speak soon.
