Lana
I know this must be a very hard time for you but I think you are very strong. I know how desparate we all get to do a cycle but I think what we mean is for us to do a succesful cycle, no one in the world wants to get a BFN. I think it is a good idea to get yourself mentally and physically strong before going through another treatment this way the chances of a BFP increase. I hope you and DP sort things out and the pressure you are under decreases.
We will all still be here for you in september and before if you need us.
Take care and stay strong.

Little p,
It looks like we're probably doing transfer on the same day unless they decide on a day 6. Are all your embies still there? Tommorrow is day 4 or 5 for you? I always get so worried about mine because of the last cycle, there were less #'s everytime the Dr. called. At least we're getting closer. I wish I could relax.

Lana, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. I think for most of us the most stressful part is the financial aspect. Because we know we can only afford a certain amount of cycles & then our dreams for a child are gone. I wouldn't even be doing this if I didn't get lucky this year & when my husbands ins changed it covers ivf which is almost unheard of. I have one more try if this one doesn't work & then I can't afford anymore. I have 3 beautiful children, so I will be ok, but it would be nice to be like the celebrities & keep going until it works. Try voicing your concerns to your Dr. our Dr. gave us meds this last cycle which are a huge expense. Good luck!

Friday will be Day 5 for me. They gave a break down of how they are all looking at the moment and said they were happy with things and that is why they suggested to go for a Blastocyst transfer.

How are your little ones doing - have you heard anything?

Love and hugs

LP Great news for Friday! They will be doing lots dividing right now!

Lana - I think you have done by far the best thing. Every twist in turn in IVF is emotional, even when you know an outcome/decision is for the best.

My patch stuff is okay. I have to change every 48 hrs but I feel like they lose stickiness after about 24!
Nearly left the house without injecting yesterday

Lumi

You take care of yourself and get plenty of R&R as well.

Sending you loads of hugs and PMA - how long are you on the patches for?

Jen,

how exciting, it's like a little Easter egg hunt  It must be kind of fun for the Dr. to count all those little eggs. Best of Luck!

Lumi,
I can understand forgetting injections. It really stresses me out. If my little embies stick then I have to remember for the next 6 weeks & I've almost forgotten a few times, luckily Dh remembers.

LP,
I though you had your ec on Sun. for some reason, but it was Sat.? Our embies are the exact same age then :D They are thinking probably a day 6 (Fri) I still don't know why that's better than day 5. They waited until day 6 last time & we lost them even though there were only 2 left by then. How are you feeling? I'm still stressed  but glad there are more this time.

Lana - bit late coming in with this now, but didn't get to the boards much yesterday. Like a lot of other people are saying, it seems like you've made a really wise decision as you've got to be healthy to go through this. It also just shows how you can't see IVF in isolation from everything else going on in your life - we have to be a bit single minded to go through it all, but there are other things and IVF can't come before your relationship. I really hope you get things resolved with your DH and that you both get the support you need, to come back healthier, wealthier and more positive in the autumn.

Little P and Pixiesmom, hope your embies are doing well and that you're looking forward to ET. Pixiesmom, try not to worry too much about them hanging on - I know it must be hard after last time.

Jen good luck for EC whenever it is.

Lumi, I sometimes think I'll forget to inject too. Now that I've got two lots (down regging and stimming) I think it's less likely - in fact I'll have to go and do it in a minute.

After a long chat with the consultant, we have decided that DH needs to have another sperm test to see if the last one was a bit of an aberration. Turned out he only had 6.5% NORMAL forms, which is not good. Maybe it was because he'd been under a lot of stress at the time. We're going to end up having another test at the same time as I have my first scan and the decision on ICSI or not is going to be very last minute but I'm trying not to get worked up about it. Oh well better go and have my second stimming injection.

Morning all

Pixiesmom, I did have EC on Sunday, but they call day 1 Monday as it's the first full day that they are outside the body, so day 5 for me is Friday. It's strange how hospitals vary isn't it?

I've just had my daily update call about the little ones and she said that they had compacted nicely (Morula stage) and she was very happy. Definitely scheduled for tomorrow and probably midday but they are going to confirm this later on.

Have you heard anything. Try not to worry too much, I know it's difficult because it's out of our control, but keep full of PMA and stay strong.

Big hugs to all

Love

Little P
