Denise you hang in there.. i had alot of mixed feelings when i went and seen my grandaughters scan.. i started crying when i herd the heart beat.. they i had joy when they said it was a girl.. i dont think i could have handeled it if it would have been aa boy..

for me i just kept thinking how happy i was that someone didnt have to have the heartache they we have had to feel.
and that it was great that i was asked to take part in such a wonderful moment.
and when my grandaughter was born and put in my arms i thought for a monent what if and shed some more tears..
but this wasnt ment to be for me..
i have to think of the great things that i do get to be a part of and i give myself moments to greve.. for me that has been a huge help...

if there is ever anything thing that i can do please let me know...
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

Hello All,
I just have get a 'ticker' I'm sure it will make the time go faster!!!!!

Sorry to read that some of you have been having a tough time. I know what you all mean about being around babies, I really can't bear to be near them but fortunately I don't have any close friends or relatives with them. I also don't know how I would cope if I'd lost a baby. It must be sooooooo hard for you. My heart is with you all.

Take care
Love

Hey guys!

Just moving us up.... we've been quite quiet lately.
I guess that might be because we could also post on that thread about no-man's land in between treatment...

Life's exciting when you're waiting for the good old aunt flo. Anyone starting any meds soon?

Nicki,

Some people think they're helping, but honestly. Guy sounds like an a$$.

Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get aunt flo after a m/c?

Hello All,
I guess we are all just playing a waiting game - although I am now counting down to my clinic appointment - only a week left then I'll feel like I am really on the way. I should begin sniffing at the end of June so that's not too long now!!!
I'm not sure how long it takes for the body to return to normal after M/C - guess it is like anything else and it varies - not much help I know.
Take care all

well put me down for the august buddy too. unfortunately my ivf cycle has been a total failure. i had 12 eggs only 3 fertilized and none only one grew to a 4cell stage. they are hoping it will become a blastocyte and they will transfer it but that isn't looking like it is going to happen. i am worried that this august cycle will do the same thing. there has to be something wrong with me because i was on the max dose of meds and only produced 15 follicles. i am only 34. has anyone else had such a poor response and have different results on a different cycle. could this have just been a fluke? fsh is 7.8. trish

Trish, Hang in there - and think positive. Deanne just got a ++++ with one embryo transferred!

I only had 6 follies - lost 3 to ovulating early, 2 were 'already fertilized' and lost, and I had 1 embryo which lasted until 5 days...never become a blasto and was very poor quality. For my second round I am getting has healthy as possible. I also started seeing an acupuncturist/chinese medicine doctor (help with some issues such as blood flow and egg quality). Make sure during your follow-up appointment to discuss the outcome with your doc and anything to improve the next cycle. My doc actually prescribed baby aspirin to be started during stimming to increase the blood flow to uterus area which then should help create better and more quality eggs.

12 eggs is actually an incredibly good amount!!! My clinic does not want anymore than 12 follies to develop - they prefer 10 to work with. There are many woman on here on their first try did not have the egg outcome as expected and went onto their next cycle and created top quality eggs. There are so many factors impacting the egg production - meds, stress, nutrition,......it really is a 'fluke'.
