I think the grading relates to the quality of the embryo, the amount of fragmeting that has occurred and not to the size. I had a 6A (good quality 6 cell) and an 8A/B (quite good quality 8 cell).

I am not so positive this time,i dont know why.I am keeping myself ready for the bad news.as the fertilisation result was so poor and totally unexpected and then on day 3 4cell embryo which is not brillian i guess.last time whn i was successfull i had 8cell embryo on day2.well atleast i have been successfull.how are you??
I have just been told my two going in tomorrow are 4 A and 4 b, I was disappointed because we wanted to go for blastocyst. the doctor said that they were fine to go in and we shouldn't wait for blastocyst. I hope they have divided even more tonight?? It's the first time I've worried about that.
Those 8 cells were fantastic!!! I would think that was more the exception rather than this??? I just believe now, we can't do anything to change them we have to go with it and pray. I did read somewhere about someone having a low cell division and going on to test + tive. PMA xxx
