Had tried to be positive as I said before although preparing myself for the worst.
Two things happened...

DH came home from work and has cried twice as he blames himeslf for us having to have treatment. That makes me feel guilty as I'm having enough of a problem holding things together and it makes me cry too!

My Monster In Law also called. I say monster - she knew that we would have problems conceiving because of male infertility and didn't tell DH until 3 years after we married! Have never confronted her but given the disinterest and lack of support she has shown us (apart from saying at the start that a lot of women of my age have problems conceiving!) we've haven't told her that we're going through treatment. She made me angry!!!!!!

Hi Julie, I understand!

Our problem is male factor....My dh offen cry's and says that it's his fault and that I shoudl just leave him and find a man than can give me a baby.

But that's understandable. I tell him I married him for him not for his child bearing.

I hope that u get the BFP. That will show MIL, then she can shove it cant she? What a monster huh? What's wrong with dh then? My dh has Azoospermia.

Anyway, Good Luck x x

Thank you for all your support. I'm afraid that it was negative. DH is devastated. I am trying to be strong for his sake. He has only just come to bed he is so upset and will not be going to work today.

He has said the usual things like it's not too late for me to find someone else.

Luckily his Mother did not get through on the phone last night or she would have for the first time got a piece of my mind! DH was born with undescended testicles a major cause of male infertility - something she would know all about being a lecturer in biochemistry. I'll never know why she not only didn't tell us but lied to me and told he that there were no male factor problems in the family (we later found out that his Father was told he'd never have children) so she couldn't see us having any problems conceiving!

At the moment I feel like stopping any more treatment, the drugs make me feel so awful, but it doesn't make sense not to use the 11 embryos we have left, I may see if we can have a natural FET cycle.

Julie and DH, I am sending you big, bug hugs. Take it easy and both of you pamper yourselves the next couple of days. Try to stay away from the monster-in-law for a couple of days as well...you need each other. Try to think about the positive things in life - your relationship and you have 11 frosties waiting for you!! There are such possibilities.

So sorry for you and DH I know how hard this is. Take as much time as you need to recover emotionally and physically from this treatment before making any decisions on your future.
Take care of yourselves and know this board is here for you whenever you need it.
