Just wondered if anyone wanted to start chatting with me before and during my 2ww which is fast approaching (4th July)? Will be great to hear from anyone,

Hi Lumi - my clinic's quite precise about the protocol so I know my baseline scan is Monday (20th June) then I have 2 weeks of stims and my clinic usually does collections on Monday and ET on Weds so I've worked most fof my dates out. It could all change however if my eggs grow quicker / slower but that is tyhe most liely plan. What stage are you? It'll be great to have company for the dreaded 2ww!!

That's great Holly - what goes on with the IUI next week? After the scan what happens then? Sorry to be nosey but I never did IUI so you might have to educate me! P.S Nicki's right about everyone welcome - I love talking to anyone - doesn't have to be IVF and doesn't even have to be people on 2ww in July. Good luck with Monday - I'll be thinking of you,

THOUGHT I WOULD JUST ADD THIS NOTE TO SAY - ANYONE AND EVERYONE WELCOME - I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE THIS THREAD SOUND EXCLUSIVE IF I HAVE DONE SO WHETHER YOU'RE IVF / IUI / ICSI / 2WW OR NOT 2WW - ANYONE / EVERYONE MORE THAN WELCOME. WELL THIS IS HOW IT WENT FOR ME
DH AND I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL TO TALK ABOUT IUI OR IVF ON MONDAY 13 JUNE
WE LEFT WITH FIVE CLOMID TABLETS BECAUSE IT WAS THE RIGHT DAY TO START :lol: I TOOK ONE EACH DAY TILL FRIDAY THEN I HAD SCAN WHICH SHOWED TWO LARGE FOLLYS AND FOUR NOT SO LARGE
THE DOCTOR TOLD US WE MUST COME BACK NEXT DAY FOR ANOTHER SCAN AND THEY WOULD CANCEL THE IUI OR CARRY ON AFTER SEEEING HOW THE OTHER FOUR FOLLYS WERE DOING
IF THEY WERE TOO BIG THE CHANCE OF MULTI PREG.. WAS TOO HIGH
THIS SCAN WENT WELL, SMALL CHANCE OF TWINS AND SO THEY GAVE ME A INJECTION 10.30 THAT NIGHT
READY FOR IUI MONDAY MORNING (20TH JUNE) THAT WENT FINE SO NOW ON MY FIRST 2WW
IT WAS VERY FAST FOR ME WHICH I KNOW IS A GOOD THING NOT WAITING FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN

Wow Holly - that's a whirlwind so you're experiencing the dreaded 2ww as we speak. Just don't get worrying about every twinge and feeling - get yourself relaxed - a heap of DVDs - a comfy sofa and a pile of healthy (but delicious) food and then look after yourself - no stressing over symptoms and absolutely NO testing early! Hope you're finding everything okay - keep us posted on how you're feeling and remember we're always here for you - whatever you need, Cherylxx

Good luck Holly. Its very exciting!

Can't wait to waiting too......on the excl;usivity point you made me realise that in the past I have sounded 'exclusive ' too and refer to IVF and IVFer's. I think we all really mean ANYONE (IVF, ICSI, FET, IUI)!!! I am FET from an ICSI cycle. Never done IUI. I am showing off now. I love these acronyms!

So how are the July 2ww? :?: Keep in touch girls.....anyone else to join?? :P

As posted on under 30, I am feeling really emotional. Goodness knows what I will be like when 2ww starts with progesterone etc.
