Dont give up !!

Post by alisonb »

Afternoon Ladies,

Havent actually posted on here in quite some time but i have been lurking for some time but didnt post this time of having treatment was trying a differnet approach.
Well ladies ive just had my 5th lot of IVF treatment and must say this time i was very chilled out and went back to work and had the attitude what will be will be, and carried on as normal and had no symptoms whatsoever, had spotting on day10+11 did an evil pee stick which came up negative so was gutted, did a massive shopping trip n cleaned my house from top to bottom to just get on with it, anyway was supposed to test today but booked yesterday off work to do it then n spend the rest of the day crying in bed or summert anway yesterday morning at 4.05am i needed the loo so did my test then and the biggest surprise of my life was seeing 2 lines and a BFP ++++ to say i spent the day on cloud 9 yesterday is an understatement and to be honest im still in shock, did further pee sticks n still positive now thinking i have a pee stick addiction LOL !!

Anyway i just wanted to say Good Luck to you all currently having treatment and to stay positive and stay away from evil pee sticks, to the recent negatives im so sorry and know how you feel but dont give up your dream, hopefully we'll all get their one day its just that some of us take longer than others,
I know i have a long way to go but at the moment im very pleased to have got this far, take care ladies, hopefully i'll be able to post some good news in 2weeks time at my scan on the 4th July !!! YIKES !!!!!!

Sorry for rambling, i just wanted to share the news with ladies who understand and to the people ive cycled with before xx
