Dissauded by clinic from doing a home test, did a blood test at 9am yesterday, clinic rang at 2.30 with the amazing news that I am pregnant. Had convinced myself that period due to start.Lots of tummy pains and lower backache.Hope this message provides reassurance to someone. Taske care of yourself everyone. As an aside- I am 41.

Hi Jacqui
Welcome to this site and massive Congratulations. I also today found out that I am pg - I did e/c and e/t on exactly the same dates as you and this if my first IVF attempt!!!
My hosp told me to do home pg test today - did 2 and both had very faint blue lines - called the hospital (Guys in London) and they said if you have any line at all then you are PG!!!! Am thrilled and over the moon - can't believe it!
I was also convinced that af was coming anytime (still knicker checking now) and have exactly the same symptoms as you - plus a spotty face - NICE. I am going for my first scan Christmas Eve - have you booked yours?
Know I am jumping ahead - but have your hosp told you when baby is due - I can't work it out with the IVF cycle - August sometime I think.
Sending you lots of love and take it easy.
Love, Michelle
p.s. I'm 33.

Welcome Jacqui, and well done to both you and Michelle! It's so exciting to hear such fab news. I'm due for e/c next week on my second attempt, and have been feeling a bit down for the last couple of days. But doing a bit better today, and sooooo pleased to read your news!
love,
Nina

Hi Jacqui

Welcome to the website - its fab isn't? Like you, my e/t was on Nov 21st, test date 2nd December which after 4 attempts (not counting the abandoned cycles due to cyst formation) I finally proved positive. My first scan date is 18th Dec too. We can be August 2003 Buddies! What do you think? Has the hospital told you how many babies you are expecting? What about your Michelle? We are having one (would have liked 2 only because of all the trials and tribuations associated with the process and the thought of having to undergo it all again is terrifying.

Take care

Amanda

Hi Amanda
That is so cool that there is 3 of us due at the same time! I have no idea how many babies we are having - had 2 embies replaced though. I didn't realise that you could find out so soon as to how many babies - is that because you had one embie replaced. Lucky you having your scans on the 18th - my hosp can't fit me in till Christmas Eve. Seems ages away.
Love and take care
Michelle x
