Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well and taking great care of yourselves. that june list looks fantastic with all the smiley faces.

Sadly I have to update Donna's IVF journey. After having a good number last week, the doctor phoned her last night to tell her that the last one was not so good and things could be at an end - she has had a m/c today. She is waiting for the clinic to call regarding a d&c.

They will now probably wait until next year - finances allowing (I am sure you can all relate to that).

Although sad and disappointed, they realise that she has gone a lot further than many others have. They have a great attitude and lots of PMA.

Her comment was that she feels like doing something "daring", i.e. skydiving or bunge jumping (never done these things and I know she wouldn't really), but I guess it means just letting loose - have you all felt the same also.??

Good luck to you all. Of course I will check in and read the posts to see how you are all going - I am hooked now.
Take care

Barbara and Donna

I am so sorry - it has been such a terrible journey for you I just wanted to send you loads of love, hugs and PMA.

Whatever you decide - skydiving, bungee jumping  - I will be thinking of you.

Love and hugs

Just checking in to see if you have got your results back today - I hope that everything is ok.

Had second preg test today and levels have tripled in 2 days  going for a third test on Friday!!

Not sure what they are supposed to be as I had a 5-day transfer but they said that they were really pleased with the levels so that is good enough for me.

Still getting loads of rest-breaks and plenty of R&R. DH is being a superstar. I'm not sure whose more shell-shocked at the moment him or me.

My tummy is still very bloated from the drugs, but I have got used to that now and kind of like it   DH keeps telling me to stop rubbing my tummy, apparently everytime he looks at me I'm stroking my "little bump" :!: :!:

My parents and parents-in-law are coming for a BBQ on Sunday and we are going to tell them the results then - they haven't got a clue that we already know, they think there's at least 2 weeks to go.

What about you - have you girls told anyone yet?

Love and hugs to you all.

Little P,

They just call me on the result, my HCG level is 2.5 times of the first one, 1,863 as of 17 days post transfer. The doctor said I might have twins, but 3 is also possible since I transferred 3, my # is way too high. If that's the case, they suggest me to remove one. So I certainly want twins, 3 would be too much for me for the first time mom to be.

No one can tell exactly how many I got now. Have to wait at least 2 weeks to find out.

How about you? Feeling heavy already?

Did you do a 3-day transfer - is that why you are at day 17 already, I was on a 5-day transfer and yesterday was day 12 for me. I have to admit to being hugely relieved when they said that the result had gone up so much and was "excellent". This is such a scary time isn't it?

Going back tomorrow for another pregnancy test - do you get another one or was it just the two? I think they do this because of my NK cells issue :?

Apparently they will do the first scan at 6 to 6.5 weeks - can't wait :D

I have got sore boobs and in the morning when I wake up I have to eat something fairly quickly as I feel really sick. I am still bloated but know that this is partly because of the drugs. I can honestly say I don't care what side-effects I'm feeling I love them all at the moment because it makes me really believe that this is happening.

I hope that you are ok - let me know how you are getting on.

Love and hugs

I too still have the same condition. The bloating seems so seriously. Everything from chest down is so swelling; I feel like carrying a waterbag under my skin. It's sore a little bit, but the lower part is ok, no pain or sore at all.

I only have 2 tests, and I'm done. I will see my doctor in 2 weeks for the first scan. Don't know what he can find out. If I still have too much fluid by then, he's not going to be able to see my inside well. The doctor said the fluid going to take long time to ease.

I have already told my parents the news today. They are very happy, but I cannot see them because they live overseas. They will come to visit me as soon as they can get visa to the U.S. They told me that I shouldn't eat much BBQ or smoked food, instead I should eat more liquid food such as soup and well cooked soft meals. July 4th holiday weekend is comming I have to watch my diet.

Take care yourself and the little one. Hope you have wonderful weekend with your parents. Do eat less BBQ stuff, will you?

Wish the best,
HM

We're doing a roast on the BBQ - I have printed out a comprehensive list of what not to eat from the Internet. I never realised how many foods could be potentially dangerous - this whole process is quite education isn't it?

Still floating in a bubble of happiness - will let you know about the preg test tomorrow. It's quite nice hearing how my levels are doing, it makes me believe that this is really happening :D

Take care and enjoy your 4 July celebrations - hope the sun shines for you.

Love

Thanks for all the well wishes. Unfortunately I don't start the board off well with my -tive. Hope everybody else has better news than me.

Will read the board to see how you are all doing but going to take some time to plan our next move.

Can I ask 2 questions -- Has anybody had several failed attempts, then had the killer cells diagnosed and gone on to have a +tive? We have had 4 fails now and everything was so perfect this time we can't understand it.

Also, has anybody done anything different according to Zita West? I haven't read the book, is it really as good as you say or is it common sense ?

Hope you are all well, I am taking the day to mope about and have a good cry. xox

Leanne

I had a couple of attempts that went wrong or early m/c. I changed hospitals and was diagnosed with high levels of NK cells and as you know tested +ve on Monday of this week. It is still early days, but I am hoping that things progress well from here.

I hope this helps.

Take care of yourself.

Love and hugs

Really sorry Barbara to hear Donna's sad news. Just wanting to cut loose for a bit is an entirely understandable reaction, and I think bungee jumping sounds a great idea - far more constructive than my standard response which is to make up for all the drinks I haven't had while having tmt!!

Little P, glad to hear all's still going well for you, I'm really pleased for you. Thanks to all the June testers for being such a supportive bunch, and wishing you well for whatever lies ahead.
