I seem to pop in occassionally here and there and never get around to replying very often Im due at hospital 21st July to collect drugs after that who knows, as you can tell this is my first cycle and i am clueless. does anyone else start their cycle on day 23? thought i may as well join the August buddies as most of my treatment will be august.

DebbieM good to see that your treatment is around mine, hopefully yours will be a bit ahead of mine, so you can keep me informed on the next process.

Julesg Hi again dear, i bet you cant wait to get started. I am scared stiff, i went to asda after phoning to see if i could start and i felt physically sick walking around the aisles. Its mad since i have waited so long to have a little bit of hope.

Mia made up that your treatment has started, you sound so excited, i dont even know what the BCP patch is.

Nickimark how are you doing? Although i havent posted much i have been reading your posts over the last few months.

sorry if i have missed anyone but my memory is rubbish, thats why when i do come on its a very short message and then i disappear for weeks!!! i struggle keeping up with everyone.

But am planning on joining in more as treatment progresses, i am sure that i will need all your fabulous insight.

hi all.... it looks like i'll have my EC/ET in the first week of Aug. We are starting the suppression drugs on sunday 7/3....i can't hardly wait to be moody... this is our final try and then we are calling it quits... i can truly say that we have tried!!! so we are crossing fingers, saying prayers and anything else.

who else is on this same time frame??

i turn into a big crab when taking the lupron, with tons of hot flashes.... and it's already 90+ Fahrenheit everyday... it's a HOT summer...

i do not sniff, like others, we take shots to suppress my ovaries..

I am doing IUI again drug free, so forgive me if I dont truely understand ok.

no prob.... i think that taking the drugs and what they do to me is one of the worst part of this whole thing.... that is one of the reasons that we are calling it quits after this, hopefully if works and i will not have to worry about it.

it's been a LONG road and we've done everything we started in 1997 and we have a 4year old boy who we love to death, but we were hoping for manykids, i've always wanted 4 kids....

i hope the best for you, and that you will not have to go through the drugs and you get a +ive this time around!!!

Hello All,
Well, it looks as if a few of us will be hitting EC at about the same time. Lets hoping for lots of BFP posts on this thread.
Colleen - best of luck. It is our last attempt too, although we will only have had 3 tries. Neither of us feel that we can keep going without an end in sight. The emotional strain is just too much.

Fortunately I don't have too many side effects from the drugs - although I don't like any of the process - sniffing gives me pain in my sinuses and I have to get my Mum to give me injections (she's an ex nurse so is used to it).

I began sniffing on Thursday so really feel like I'm on my way now. Just can't wait to get to the middle of August then I'll know if I'm ever going to be a Mum.

Coleen im going to be right behind you. I start on Provera tablets on the 10th July and start down reg on the 12th July. This is my first go at IVF, ive had –ve’s IUI before. Ive just received the first lot of my drugs in the post and I feel such a wimp because the whole lot looks very scary. It sounds like you have had a rough time with it over the years, lets hope August is a lucky month for us all.
