Faith, this is exactly the place to vent feelings :P I agree writing things down helps and is theraputic, and that it may then be read by others who understand is just wonderful :!:

Faith .. Hope your scan tomorrow perks you up a little .. I haven't taken the Menopur, but I'm sure I'm corect in saying that really almost anything can happen from one u/s to the next. Many, many girls have show signficant developments in the last couple of days, prior to EC. Pls don't you give up any hope.

Look forward to seeing your news tomorrow.

Sammy - Well done on ET !!! We'll add you to the testers !! Now - rest up ...

Lumi - You keep on resting up there girl .. it sounds like you've made a real good job of this one ...!

Anne - Hope you're managing to keep up the PMA. The second week is definitely the worst - swinging from one emotion to the next ... not tooooo long to go now ..

Faith

I also worried about not producing enough follicles. I didnt respond at first to the stim drugs and when I did I had 6 in one ovary and 1 in the other. The nurse said she only had 8 follicles and ended up with twins. It really is quality not quantity. When it came to EC day, I actually had 14 follicles in one ovary and 3 in the other and got 12 eggs in total. So it obviously kicked in at the end for me!!
Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Faith, it's VERY easy to have negative thoughts, all of us do and it doesn't mean that you're a negative person...sometimes we just have to speak the negative thoughts so that we can have others reassure us that everything will work out (according to God's plans for us) we have to realize that it's not in our hands but being positive and having faith is sometimes all we have...no matter what any of us do to become parents we have to believe that in some way, shape or form it WILL happen if we want it bad enough and I know that every on this board does, including you
this has been a sermon from "Sammy the Saint" yeah right...
God Bless
have a great weekend

Just thought I would update.

Had third test today and the levels are still going up nicely - phew what a relief.

I am now booked in for my second IVIG on Sunday - this was the day of our planned BBQ to surprise parents so we are going to have to do it at the end of the day rather than the beginning - but I think this news is worth waiting for  :D

Anyway, hope that you are all ok - Faith, I can say anything that the others haven't already said, just please know that you are in my thoughts.

Love and hugs

Little P

Little P ... Glad to hear all is well and you're on course for a loooooonnnnnggg 9 months !

Sunday should be great for BBQ, so hope parents are truly shocked  , and you have a good day !

There's nothing much to report here, except it's been a loooong week, and I'm going to have an early night (after watching BB evictions in bed !).

Take care x

Sandra

You are so right - looonnngg is the right word, but to be honest I don't care - I'm just so happy and taking each day as it comes.

My beta levels are doing really well they are almost tripling every 2 days which I hope is a good sign :D

Anyway I will won't be around tomorrow but will let you know what happens next as soon as I can. I know they do a couple more pregnancy tests before giving me my first scan date. Fingers crossed all continues to go well.

Love and hugs to you all.

Hello Everyone,

I've just popped in to work for something and to check how everyone on here is (our computer at home is rubbish, so I only tend to post from work) and found so many lovely messages from you all. Thank you so much. I really don't know what I would without you!

All your PMA for us must have worked because we got better news at our scan yesterday.... I have three at 15 mm (not sure which side they're on) one at 12 and one at 8 mm. I also have a 20 mm one! The nurse we saw yesterday seemed to think that I'll probably lose the 20 mm one and that the 12 and 8 ones won't come through enough, so I'll have the three 15's (hopefully!) That's good enough for me! I am trying now to take this one step at a time. Each appointment we get brings us one step closer.

We go back tomorrow and if all looks OK, it will be HCG tomorrow night (aaaarrggghhh!) with EC on Wednesday. I'm not even going to think about ET.... Like I said, one step at a time....

Hope everyone else is doing OK, I'm thinking of you all....

As a good friend of mine always says: 'Keep the Faith' (where do you think my log-in name comes from.....?!) I just keep having to remind myself of that sometimes.

I really can't thank you all enough for keeping me going through all of this.
Love to everyone,

Faith xx
