I have the book in front of me, which says

Below age of 35 - 23% live births from 315 fresh cycles started
35-37 14.6% " 137 "

Hi Loopy, I think they're about average in the statistics stakes. I can't seem to find an actual `league table' anywhere that puts clinics into a particular order level. I printed out all of the North East stats and they seemed a bit wishy washy to be honest, I certainly couldn't find anywhere with the 50% stats that some of the southern clinics have.

It all seems like a bit of a lottery doesn't it. We were going to change to Newcastle from Middlesbrough but we spoke to the sister there and she said there wasn't any point!

Hi Loopy .. As Claire says, the below 35 year old rates seem about average ... from 315 fresh cycles that were started, 23% of these cycles resulted in a live birth. Some clinics are better - some (like mine !!!) are much worse ..

Ive not looked at statistics for other clinics, but I know that mine had higher rates for the last few years for ICSI cycles. Is this the same for other clinics? Just interested.......
