Help Needed Quickly - Re: HCG Injection

Post by Faith »

Hi Everyone,

I need help NOW!! I have to do my HCG injection at 9 pm - UK time. I have a stupid question..... It has been in the fridge for a couple of weeks, do I do it cold straight from the fridge or let it warm up to room temperature? I really don't want to get this wrong.... I know it's so important.
Sorry if it's a stupid question.

all I know from my IUI is any injections from the fridge should be at room temp before injecting or else they hurt more - but check with your clinic or phone the NHS diorect helpline and get a nurse..

any one else????

hope that helps

Thanks for the replies.... In the end, we just took it right out of the fridge but by the time we'd prepared it, it seemed to have warmed up anyway as there was so little of it!

I think it was just me panicking.... The consultant had stressed yesterday what an important injection it was and I was terrified of getting it wrong and ruining everything. Honestly, talk about a roller-coaster ride!!

Thanks again,

Faith xx

Thanks Sandra....

Feeling very nervous, but have had a mega busy day at work today, so that has helped take my mind of it a bit....

Will let you know how it goes!
