Thanks so much Little P. I will be on 'limited' bedrest for 4 days after transfer. I have been resting as much as I can today and I slept most of yesterday too. lol I am going to take full advantage of the doctors orders and rest as much as possible.

Rear end is still a bit sore from Hcg shot but the prog. shot didn't bother me a bit. I iced before the prog. and massaged it afterward per dr. instructions but did nothing like it for the Hcg. Guess that made the difference.

Have a great day (or evening, depending on where you are. :) )

Caroline-Thanks! I am hoping we have 2-3 to freeze. Dh thinks this time will work and is already talking about when to do this again!

Sandra-I am thrilled to pieces about all of this. I was so scared the last few weeks and totally stressed. I am feeling much better now. Thanks!

bigJ-Sore bottom is nothing at this point. lol My belly still looks like I have been in a fight though. Hope that goes away soon.

Thus far I have had no signs of OHSS which just thrills me. Nurse gave me instructions on taking my temp, weighing myself and drinking plenty of water. I have actually lost 3 pounds since I started this cycle and no sign of weight gain as of yet. And any swelling I had yesterday seems to be gone today. I have to say that the EC was the hardest part thus far. I have had a trial transfer done already (months ago) and that seemed okay so I am not concerned about it on Thursday.

Has anyone taken Medrol? I have to take 1 a night for 4 nights and that stuff is giving me serious indigestion. And another thing...I got up 5 times last night to potty. I don't think I drank THAT much yesterday...maybe it was from the IV.

Best of luck to everyone.

Sorry, I posted on another thingy... I'm not too hot at all this!

Yes the clinic confirmed a BFP!! :D :D

Can't stop grinning!! They called back with blood results which were 96, when I saw then this morning they said anything over 30 would be good, so I guess I am very pregnant!! Has anyone else had blood results, I really don't know what to expect.

Good luck to all of you this month, fingers crossed, I'll be thinking of you.
(If it can work for me on my 5th attempt, then there is hope for everyone)

Love
Anne

Well done Anne.

Just relax (I know, what a joke) and enjoy this time - try not to worry about figures just remember you're pregnant and that's what matters.

Take it easy.

Hi Everyone!

I've finally managed to log in as we're staying at DH's brother's house and I haven't used this computer before!

Well, I had EC today and got FIVE plus one 'questionable'. We are really happy with that, considering how things looked last week.

I feel surprisingly good after the procedure. I had a bit of cramping immediately afterwards, but they gave me painkillers and so far it hasn't returned. Apart from feeling very tired, I can't say I feel too bad at all (hope I don't regret saying that in the morning!!)

Now comes the REALLY nerve-wracking wait for tomorrow's news.... Please, please let us get ONE to put back. I'll be very happy with that!

I have to say that I have tempted fate by staying here.... DH's brother actually lives in Manchester (handy, huh) but this is the first time we've stayed here during this treatment, as I've preferred to stay with my sister who is a bit further away, but her house is bigger making things easier in the mornings and it's been nice to spend some time with her.
As it happened, BIL and SIL went on holiday yesterday (perfect timing!) so we've got their house to ourselves. It still took us an hour to get to the clinic this morning, though!

We had the choice of going home this afternoon and then (hopefully) coming back down tomorrow night for ET on Friday, or staying here (I wouldn't be going to work tomorrow anyway and DH's boss has agreed he can work from 'home'). I will be absolutely gutted if I have been presumptious and we end up going home tomorrow 'empty-handed'. I just couldn't really face travelling for 2 and a half hours this afternoon, then doing it all again tomorrow night.... Not after having a GA this morning....

So..... Please keep your fingers crossed for good news tomorrow. The clinic have said they'll ring around 11 am. I want DH to take the call.... He can tell me if it's good or bad news....

And now to catch up with everone else...!

Great news on your embies, Chrissy, wishing you loads of luck for ET. Hopefully I will be one day behind you!

So happy to see you got a BFP Anne! You must be so thrilled. Here's to a happy and healthy nine months!

How's the 2WW going Caroline and Michelle? Is it as nerve-wracking as you imagined? I'm still trying not to look that far ahead. 'One step at a time has now become my mantra!' And Caroline, the follie fairy really came through with it's order from my follie factory (loved that, by the way....!)

Kagome, hope AF arrives soon.... Mine was 5 days late before starting this and I was almost tearing my hair out! But things moved really quickly once it showed up....!

And Little P - Hope you are taking things really easy and enjoying this special time....

Sorry if I've missed anyone.... going to get DH to make me ANOTHER cup of tea now (I could get used to this....!)

Hi all. I am set for transfer tomorrow morning at 11am. They said the embies are dividing properly and doing well. I am a bit nervous though. :)

Faith-I will keep you in my thoughts and pray that everything works out well for you. Stay positive...it only takes 1.

Faith

5 is fantastic - big shouts to the fertilisation fairies to do their stuff tonight and make you some beautiful embryos. I am keeping everything crossed that you get good news. Stay positive and focused won't you.

Chrissy

Good luck tomorrow, remember to get plenty of rest and look after yourself. Let us know how you get on when you feel ready.

PMA and hugs to you both.

Little P
