Hi

I've been for my 2nd blood test today and they have called with the result. It has increased to 198 from 95 on Tuesday. They said it was doing what they expected! Whatever that means.

Has anyone else had simular results? I have to go back in a week for another blood test, then if that is OK, they will plan a scan for about 10 days after that. Again is this normal?

Oh I don't know I just feel so on edge, I am trying to keep positive but am worried something will go wrong, after all it has taken so long to get here.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like that but I do feel better having 'said' it.

Take care
Love
Anne

Anne

It's torture isn't it, I can totally understand where you are coming from.

What they look for in the blood tests is that your levels double every 2-3 days, this shows a good response and a good pregnancy apparently.

The first scan is usually in the 6th or 7th week so it sounds like you are on doing great. Start to enjoy it if you can, mind you I'm still struggling with that as I'm still in shock

I have another blood test tomorrow to check the levels and hopefully my first scan next week - can't wait, hopefully that will allay some of those fears.

Take care of yourself and the little one.
