New with lots of questions!!

Hi, congrats to all the lucky ones I have been reading about. This is my first post!! I have been trying for 6 years, took 2 years to convince my doctor that I could have endo (I have!) Lap, 6 months of Zolidex, 6 months of clomid, 3 months of gonal F injections and nearly 2 years on an IVF waiting list, which just grows. Have decided to pay privately, start Syranel nasal spray next week. Has anybody used Puregon or Menopur as I have a choice and don't know which to chose, Puregon being nearly double the price, any help would be appreciated. ALSO does DH mean doting husband?? And what is AF? Must catch up on all the initials. Thanks

Hi Lisa I had synarel and puregon injections. Don't know what the difference is with the other one, but I was fine on puregon and that was all we were offered. I got some side effects such as shooting pains in ovaries cos they were producing lots of follies but no hot flushes or anything. We went private cos no nhs provision in our area. DH stands for darling husband and af is aunt flow (american word for period). Everyone is really helpful and supportive on this site so any questions, just ask.
