Thanks everyone!
I am starting my progesterone today, a little wacked about those big needles and thick solution. Two shots a day plus lozenges seems like a lot, but my doc told me it is the best way to hold on to a pregnancy... :?

Lumi- I have been following your progress, since we are in the same boat! Good luck, I know you are very close now... Loads of PMA righ on ya! :)

NEW TO SITE - 2WW - TEST 20TH JULY

Post by Karron »

I have posted messages on about 4 different sites - As you probably realise I am new to this.

Well this is my first attempt at IVF - Firstly I was told that we had unexplained infertility, and was advised to have IUI - the first cycle of IUI failed and they also noticed that I had a uterine polyp so arranged for me to have this removed and they also performed a Laparoscopy and Salpinoscopy at the same time it was then noted that I had scarring on my left fallopian tube so I was advised to go for IVF.

I had egg collection last Monday, 21 eggs retrieved. Hospital phoned me on Tuesday to let me know that 18 had fertilised. I had my embryo transfer on Wednesday, 2 embryos were placed back and 12 are being frozen. I am due to test on Wednesday 20 July.

I am feeling really negative at the moment, every little twinge I am analysing. I had a spot appear yesterday and was convinced this was a dreaded PMT spot although I have been reasurred from others that this is quite normal. I have a few really mild cramps today but I don't know if I am just imagining them, silly again I know.

Is it normal to convince yourselves of PMT symptoms during this 2WW. I am back to work tomorrow so maybe it will take my mind of it a bit.

Look forward to hearing all your results.

Good luck to you all.

Karron

As I read your post I was sat here nodding away and agreeing with you, as I'm sure a lot of other girls will do - believe me I reckon most of us go through the negative and positive feelings during the dreaded 2ww.

The sad thing about all the signs you mention is that there is no definitive answer as to which ones to look out for. The early signs of pregnancy are so similar to those experienced with AF that the two are often confused - great eh!!! :?

Just another challenging time

All I can say is try and stay positive and focused at all times and fully charged with loads of PMA. Get plenty of rest and look after yourself.

Good luck and loads and hugs

Little P
