Oh Lumi, another week of waiting, how awful. But a weak positive is better than no positive at all. And DH will be around next week, so that's got to help.

keep strong

Lumi
I am so sorry you didn't get better news. I have had 3 weak positives so I know how hard it is,especially the wait.
I don't know how much hope there is but I will keep everything crossed for good news for you next week.
Take care of yourself.

Lumi

I am so sorry it couldn't have been a confident positive. We will be here for you everyday with as much PMA as you need.

Take good care of yourself and get plenty of rest.

Love and hugs

I am concerned (and i think the doctor too) that this is an ectopic because of the spotting and low level

Lumi, did the doc actually say that or is it just a hunch? I had an ectopic once (only pregnancy I ever had) and I don't think my HCG level was particularly low - although of course it was tested much later than you are now. Also I had a full on period, which started just after I left my GP's surgery having gone to see her to say I was pregnant, not just a bit of spotting, and a much heavier bleed like a miscarriage a few weeks later.

So the symptoms you've got don't necessarily point to an ectopic, as far as I know. I really hope it isn't ectopic (better a BFN) than that, but if it is, then the main thing is that it's caught early and you're in the best possible hands for that. In fact, they're much more likely to catch it than with a normal conception.

I'm hardly one to talk at the moment, but try not worry too much, get plenty of rest and take good care of yourself.

Dear Lumi
Sorry it wasn't the concrete news you were hoping for but at least it is a weak positive and you never know - best of luck for your next test

I am afraid the most sensitive tests measure no less than 50, and I am only 7.

The doctor didnt say ectopic but said (I think) 'we need to watch for complications'

I just cant stop crying

oh Lumi, you poor thing. It's not a very good day for either of us is it. I have also done some crying but am just about holding it together at the moment. I think if I was there with you, I would also be in bits. With DH being away, have you got someone nearby who can give you a real hug and hold your hand? Have a cyber hug anyway and take good care.

Sammy, when do you find out your results? Hope you get the BFP that Lumi and I don't seem to be managing right now (though I keep trying to hang on to a glimmer of hope for both of us)

Thinking of you both
