Oh Caroline, I an so sorry....
I have been waiting to post until I felt strong enough again, but have been checking to see how those testing are getting on. I was so hopeful for you. Everything seemed to have gone so well. You should still test tomorrow, because you just never know. Stranger things ahve happened.
I will post some time later this week to let everyone know how I'm doing, but for now, my thoughts are with you.
Take care.

Faith xx

P.S. - Did you find the wine helped? I didn't - it just doean't seem to taste as good as it used to....

Thanks for your thoughts Faith and Kagome. It really helps.

Faith, I'm really touched that in your own pain and disappointment you're still thinking of us. I hope things are getting better for you. And actually, I really really enjoyed my wine (perhaps you just didn't have a very good bottle!).

Kagome glad things are starting to happen for you.

take care

  Got scanned today and the nasty cyst is back.  My lining is still not all gone yet neither. Going for another scan Monday to see if the cyst has gone down. If it goes down I can start my puregon. If not then I'll have to abandon this cycle (again)   Feeling very down at the moment. Don't know what to do with myself. I really hope this cyst goes.

BTW Sorry for moaning at you guys. Just need to get it all out before i explode.

Kagome

Please let it all out!! I have certainly done my share of moaning......we are all here for you.

I really hope this cyst  disappears. This type of thing plays with our emotions so much....are you waiting for a bleed? I have PCOS and bled this time when down regging but didnt last time - that was a shock as i just dont get periods that often. Also little cyst appeared....but did go a week later.....its horrible waiting....you may bleed to get that endo nice and skinny or it will just do it...lots of love

Take care Lumi xxxx

Lumi:- I'm in the middle of AF so waiting for all the lining to go. Apparrently cysts usually go after you bleed so I'm praying for it to be gone by the time I have my next scan.

Kagome - fingers crossed for you that things have moved on by Monday. As we all know, just about anything can happen in a couple of days with these meds. Good luck ..

I have a strong feeling that things are over for me. I'm still maintaining a little hope but I have really strong period pains, pituatory gland headache (I can always feel when it starts) and general AF-on-its-way feelings. I should bleed on Sunday if it's like normal (my last 2 treatments I've bled 3 days before test. Oh well - I don't suppose anything could have survived my illness - would have been nice though! I'll be joining Sandra for a change of clinics. Any news on yours yet Sandra?
Good luck to everyone else,

Oh Cheryl - I'm sorry you're feeling so despondent. On my first 2 cycles I too bled a couple of days before test day. On my third, I didn't bleed until a good few days after test day. On each cycle I've had AF symptoms and pains .... I really don't think it's anything to go by. We've all heard positive outcomes from girls who have had the same AF-y feelings. I know Wed seems a looonnnggg way away, but you've got to be strong Cheryl.

Thanks for asking about my clinic. I saw my GP a couple of weeks ago and he referred us to Leeds (NHS). I rcvd a letter from Leeds this morning ... top and bottom of it is there's about a 4 month waiting list for initial consultation, then lots of tests again, then up to a 2 year waiting list. No. I don't think so - I'm 36 this month. So, I've spoken to GP again this afternoon, and he's going to refer us to Care Manchester. I feel better already, just knowing he's going to do it. I asked about the possibility of still getting the drugs on NHS and he said that as my PCT would have been paying for the drugs at St Mary's or at Leeds, he can't see my going Private as any different. So, if that works out it should knock a whole ton of £s off the bill. I'm getting itchy feet now, so I think that means I'm getting ready for the next round !

You keep your chin up .... your pains certainly don't mean that anything is over.

Cheryl,
I pray your headache has a different hormone meaning for you this time. I know exactly what you mean about the pituitary start of them. However, until you described it that way, I didn't realize it was that gland that it was coming from. My period headaches (and my sister's) always start at the base of the skull (top of the spine), and they turn into migraines over the course of the day, every time. And that's where the pituitary gland is! Now I know one more thing about those after 25 years of having them. Thanks!

I would be afraid too. But as others have said, many women who end up pregnant felt their periods coming on as usual and were completely fooled(nasty tricks mother nature plays).

Baby dust to you! Praying hard that you are wrong!

Am sending you lots and lots of positive thoughts and baby dust that you are a classic case of 3rd time lucky.

Try and stay positive (I know it's hard but try anyway) you just never know what might happen, you could be in for a huge and fabulous surprise. I am hoping so and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you.

I have posted to you on Brooke's thread but want to say thanks for thinking of me. You always make me feel better with your kind words and your wisdom. I am having the surviving two embies put back today, I am not sure of the quality because they really haven't been given time to do anything yet! Not yet sure of my testing date but I will let you know so I can be added to the list.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Cheers

Thanks for positive thoughts everyone - it's not long now I know and at least I have end of term to look forward to so it'll be very hard to stay down in the dumps for long. I'm really glad I've resisted the HPT this time - they just seem to add to the agony although I did have a dream last night where I did two and both were positive! My brain is playing very mean tricks on me but DH's brain is playing even weirder tricks. He said he dreamt we had a bit of kinky nightime activity and wouldn't tell me what in case I was disgusted by him. Poor thing, I haven't let him near me in months - another good thing about a negative - all sexual relations can be resumed and I can have a delicious bath Wed night!! And a big glass of wine - cheers to all those silver linings!!

Love to all, Cherylxx
