I don't know, but I hope that your little one will catch up the big one in time. I was told today at my first scan (6 weeks) that one of my little ones is smaller than the other two. That's so worrysome. But my doctor says one week things can be different. So I will go back for second scan next week to see if the weaker one can become stronger. Thinking about my multiple-pregnancy is so scary. I'm afraid of lossing any one of them.
Just have fingers crossed and pray for the safely carrage for every one.
I will be thinking of you both these next couple of weeks. I understand how your multiple pregnancies will have you wondering if everything is ok, but as we know multiples are quite common with IVF and luckily for all of us the medical field is right on it! Best wishes to you both.

Hey Wardley- I was happy to see your invite for all of the twins (and more) moms to join this thread.
I wouldn't worry about the size difference- remember how very small .5 mm really is. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I think my measurements jumped around, too, with there sometimes being a difference and then a catching up. Also, I noticed that it is a somewhat imprecise measurement- if the doc pushed a little harder on the wand, they got bigger and the measurements changed. I also had one scan where they did not find a heartbeat, then 2 hours later, my OB looked and both little hearts were beating away.
I am 12w5d with twins- still a teeny bit in shock, even though I rationally knew this was very possible. I spent the first trimester not focusing on the twin part, just in case one vanished. Now I am starting the second trimester worrying about preterm labor. However, I think I am being more constructive than paranoid, just trying to figure out how to take all precautions.
For all twin moms joining, let me warn you that the morning sickness is truly amazing. Not to scare anyone, but I wish I would have been more prepared. However, I got through it and am really happy to share all of my coping strategies with everyone...

Gen - gosh you've got your time mapped out haven't you!!! I can quite see why it is difficult for you to just put your feet up and relax. I do hope that you manage to get the odd 5-10 minutes.
I thought I would join you girls on the Twins page - this is all so exciting and scary isn't it.
There's still a long way till 12 weeks and so much uncertainty, but I'm taking it day-by-day and enjoying every minute.
I feel sick throughout the day, but if I eat it suppresses the need thankfully. Do any of you feel the same?
DH and I went to see GP today to give him our news - we're lucky he's a wonderful man and very, very supportive.
We will get a phone call from the midwife in about 4 weeks (when I'm around 10 weeks) to see us and make the referral to the hospital and then they will do the 12 week scan and take it on from there.
I will be staying in contact with my treatment hospital and seeing them regularly because of the NK cells. I'm actually quite glad about this because it means I might get a couple more scans just to keep an eye on things
I think my hormones are really starting to kick in, I find myself getting quite irrational about the silliest things and crying over nothing - at least I now have a good excuse though
NK cells are Natural Killer cells - this is what my problem has turned out to be. I have too high levels of them in my body and when implantation occurs they rear up and fight the foetus and prevent it from developing, hence causing early m/c.
Are you showing yet - I have a true Bump, it's incredible Already I can no longer get into my nice jeans and trousers so DH took me to a lovely maternity shop and bought me some maternity trousers. The woman in there thought I was at least 3-4 months gone
Apologies ladies for jumping in on your thread but I couldn't make the private messaging work. Congratulations to all on your twin (and triplet!) pregnancies
I just wanted to ask Little P a bit more about the killer cells issue. Before doing that though, I should say I was so pleased to read about your scan - you brought tears to my eyes. Do take care of yourself and your two precious little ones over the next seven months or so.
I wanted to pick your brains about what you had tested and which results came up high. Like you I've been at the ARGC and had the "killer cells" tests (the £800+ ones) done a couple of years ago. My memory (and I must admit that its now hazy) was that there were lots and lots of different results for different somethings (antibodies I think), and I was borderline high for one, but not enough for them to recommend different tmt. They tested again while I was briefly PG this time round and I understand (although haven't got to the bottom of it quite yet) that the results were similar. I've had pretty much everything (heparin, steroids, aspirin, humira at one point) but they've never recommended an IVIG. Do you know specifically which of your results came back as unusually high? Don't worry if you don't but if you do I'd be interested to know, as I want to be as clear as possible of all my facts when I go to the follow up appointment on 2 September. I assume that the reason they've not recommended IVIGs is because I have slightly raised levels of a different antibody, but as part of what will probably be a process of moving on I want to make sure I've understood it all properly.
Anyway, apols for the length of the email and congratulations again on your pregnancy. Love
I'm normally a size 8-10 - and 7 weeks this weekend. I've had a bulge since quite early on and now it's just sort of settled in, I actually quite like it
hi all congratulations to all multiple pregnancys moms to be, i had my FET two and half weeks ago , i did an early pregnancy test which came out +ve i dad another 2 and the positive blue was really intense my clinic have told to brace myself as its more than likely going to be twins, i have my scan in 10 days time and im kind of scarec now incase theres more than 2 , im really tired too any advice please or any same experiences
Little P- I have been in much bigger clothes since ET, as I overstimulated a bit and have had a bulge for a while. However, ovaries shrunk right as uterus made an appearance (tummy got "pointier" if that makes sense). I have been in maternity clothes for about 3 weeks (I am 13w2d today).
By the way, wanted to let you all know- Japanese Weekend maternity clothes has a line called "multiples" that is supposed to take you through the whole pregnancy. I got some wonderful pants that fit now and are supposed to be able to do the job. I got mine off the internet (www.japaneseweekend.com)- a little expensive, but most women say that with twins you have to keep moving up in size, even in maternity clothes, so maybe this will prevent that.
Hope you are all feeling well and no one has been telling awful twin outcome stories to you lately (I get about 2 per week).

I have been in maternity dresses sine the first week of transfer because I was also overstimulated, and my tummy was looked like 3 months instead of 1 week. The dresses I'm wearing are from my first pregnancy. They are all summer dresses. I think I can design and sew my own as I always love to sew and studied fasion design in college. Everybody can do it, as long as you can sew, summer dress should be an easy project. But I need to but some winter clothes; I'll check it out on the Japanese website.
My sewing project in 2nd and 3rd trimester will be baby's clothes, bedding, and decorational pieces. It's fun and a great way to show your motherly love.
