I would think it would be IVF but you would realy need to talk to a specialist about it.

I absoultely believe it will be IVF.
Isn't it wonderful you can by-pass those tubes and become a new mommy!!!!
My girlfriend had the same procedure and she can still have children if she does IVF. She's decided no because she has 2 but would have another if she could naturally without much effort and expense.
Good Luck to You!!!

thank you to all that replied to my questions about the iui or the ivf. i have checked with a specialist and its been confirmed that i will indeed have to the ivf route. both me and the dh are excited about this. however i am afraid of the possibility of a miscarriage. has anyone been successful on the first try at ivf and have had a healthy beautiful baby.....

Hi Yolanda - Welcome to the Site. I'm pleased you've made your decision. You can now prepare yourself mentally for the road ahead. I recommend reading Zita West's "Fertility and Conception". It's full of great info and tips.

In answer to your question, there have been some first time success stories on this site. It's certainly not the norm, but it can and does happen !

Good luck !

With out a doubt it would be IVF. You need clear tubes for IUI. and the success rate is high if u have IVF in your case.

Good Luck dear, let us know what your speciallist says. x x
