Hello my IUI buddies!

Anybody out there????

Holly, so sorry to hear you were unable to push through with your IUI. But like what Katie said, the natural way might work!

4 more days til my test date,....still no symptoms at all! no sore boobs, no AF feelings, no nausea, nothing!

It would be a miracle I think if this works since I didn't take any meds. We'll see...

Ok first AF started today, I go in tomorrow for blood work and an ultra sound and they will give me a script for clomid. How long does it usually take until they do the iui??

Glad to hear you are on your way with treatment!!
I started my Clomid on the 5th day of my cycle and I took it for 5 days. Now I am just waiting for ovulation and my clinic will do IUI the day my home ovulation kit turns positive. If your clinic is same way, your looking at about a two week/two and a half week wait maybe (just depending on your cycle). Has your clinic mentioned anything about detecting your ovulation?

I assumed I had a 28 day cycle so when I figured time for ovulation, I expected it to be today but since I have never had a "cycle" (cause I never got AF unless I was on meds) I was wrong. So I counted back from last months AF and apparently looks like I have a 30 or 31 day cycle so I am not expected to ovulate until the middle of the week. I just can't wait!!! I am so excited to move forward, as I am sure you and the rest of the ladies are!!

1ST IUI

DAY 1 START AF
DAY 5 START CLOMID FOR FIVE DAYS
DAY 9 SCAN TWO BIG FOLLYS AND FOUR NOT FAR BEHIND
DAY 10 SCAN THEN INJECTION 10.30PM
DAY 12 IUI
THEN TWO WEEK WAIT
AF CAME ON DAY 27

2ND IUI
DAY 1 AF
DAY 3 CLOMID FOR FIVE DAYS
DAY 11 SCAN TOO LATE ONE FOLLY LEFT, THE REST HAD POPPED! TOLD TO HAVE INJECTION AND HAVE SEX SUNDAY DAY 13 ( I DIDNT HAVE JAB I THOUGHT IT WASTE OF TIME)
NOW WAITING FOR AF TO START AGAIN FOR 3RD IUI


I KNOW EVERYONE DOES THINGS DIFFERENT BUT THAT IS HOW IT WENT FOR ME............

My cycle is similar.

But when I was doing clomid, it was by itself.

With IUI, I start injecting Puregon on day 3, with blood work that am.

Day 10 was blood word and a scan, after that I did the HCG jab.
Day 12 was IUI, then Crinone suppositories.

Then for some reason, I think my clinic tested on Day 40. I probably could have done an HPT before that but I didn't want to jinx myself.

BFP, then missed miscarriage at 8 weeks.

crinone is just the brand name for progesterone. They're going to try me on a different kind this round, so I'm stuck with a box of crinone that will be going to the garbage.

Hi IUI gals! How are we all??

Holly, dear I am sorry that your IUI was cancelled. Was this because the follicles popped or the clinic was shut?? Sorry confused!!!

American liberty, you must have surged by now? did you have your IUI? Thats bad that your clinic is shut on weekends. What if you ovulate every single month on a saturday or sunday? then what??

I am still waiting for AF..... getting excited and feeling very positive!!!

Anyway, this is what happened with me on my last IUI

Day 1 Af came
Day9 Scan for folly's
Day12 Scan for folly's and start testing for LH surge.
Day13 test for surge
Day 14 IUI then 2ww.
Day25 Af came, It didn't work

DOCTOR SAID HE COULD SEND US FOR IUI SUNDAY TO TRY(WASTE OF TIME IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT ) BUT HOSPITAL IS SHUT. I THINK NOW AFTER TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT HE USED THE HOSPITAL SHUT THING TO COVER FOR THE FACT THEY F***** UP.THE DAYS DONT WORK OUT RIGHT IF YOU COMPARE THEM TO MY FIRST IUI. I COULD SEE THIS AND I SHOULD OF SAID SOMETHING BUT DH SAID THEY KNOW BEST!!!!

I have been testing since day 12 of my cycle and it is day 16 today. Still no surge!!!! I have been paying close attention to every feeling my body has and am keeping a detailed journal of everything. I have the symtoms of preparing to ovulate (I think); I have swelling/bloating, mild cramping, some slimy clear discharge (hope thats not TMI)! The wierd thing is, I get these feelings every month excpecting AF to arrive but it never comes...but I thought forsure being on the clomid it would work!! I am not giving up just yet. I'm sure I must have a longer cycle and it will be here within the next few days.
I have waited too long and want this too bad for it not to work!!

Sorry your clinic messed you up like that Holly! My clinic is closed on weekends as well but told me to come in Monday if I surge on weekend.
Hope this time around is more positive and you get a BFP that you want so much...PMA your way!!
